This is a strong and durable solution to expand the GoPro Hero 8 possibilities. The case is sturdy and the small camera fits perfectly, also with its own side door attached. It has an opening for its own build in front microphone that does not distort the sound or lowers its level. It’s now easy to attach a microphone or light to the set. At the bottom of the case there is a place for an audio adapter that can be connected to the usb-c port. It’s so a perfect rig solution for vlogging. A 52 mm protection filter can be mounted on the cage to protect the lens of the GoPro Hero 8. Depending of the filter’s quality this also reduces refections and avoids loss of brilliance when filming in backlight. One thing to keep in mind is that with the sliding door of this cage with an opening for the connection to a microphone adapter the unit cannot be used under water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a habit of opening our sliding glass door but forgetting to turn the heat off. This solved that problem for me! It was easy to set up and very manageable.

Fits perfectly to the camera. And the Battery opening can also accommodate the battery door. A nice touch.

In addition to what has already been covered in other reviews, I would like to add: Not really a problem but just be aware the door requires opening to at least 120 degrees to allow drawers to slide out to access your equipment. Have been especially pleased with silent operation and quick response to lowering humidity back to setpoint after door has been opened. Holds (3) film cameras, (2) DSLRs, assortment of FD and EF prime lenses 15mm to 400mm and (5) zooms plus (FD) 199A Speedlite, numerous lens hoods, (2) teleconverters; you get the point.

I had been looking for a doorbell solution but my entry way is small and it needed to be installed where the old doorbell was for the wiring (at right angle to door opening). With the "horizontal angled base bracket" it can sense someone walking up to the door and I can clearly see them on the porch. Everyone at home can also see who's at the door with the phone APP. Another great LOREX product.

Nice tight grip with durable materials. Jaw opening is large enough to grip on door edges tables etc. Cold shoe is easily adjustable on a ball head and can be tightened with a sense of security. An excellent product, highly recommended for those who want to take remote flash shooting to another level.

I installed this to see who is at the door before opening it as I have a dog that gets too excited about visitors. If it's not someone I know or was expecting then I can just speak to them through the app. It's also convenient for when I'm away from home so I know who I missed.

Easy as opening a small door, moving 2 latches, pressing the DDR4 into the 2 slots, closing the latches, put small door back into place, start up iMac - what once was 8GB now 40GB at 1/4 what Apple would charge.
