I use a Sony HXR-MC88 camcorder in my library job to produce educational videos. The camcorder's monitor is okay but small and difficult to view outdoors. Going to the 7 monitor I expected an improvement. When I connected it, I was amazed at the difference. So far it has done the job. Only two minor negatives: 1. While two types of cords were provided, I did need a different one to connect to the camcorder. B&H quickly provided it. 2. It came with a hot shoe connection. Because I already have an LED light source on the hot shoe, I had to create a bolt to connect the monitor to the camcorder. Otherwise, I am delighted with it. 5 |
