Fuji Cameras Lenses Have Stabilization
Macknight, | 2024-07-16 04:53:18 |
I have been using multiple Fuji lenses coupled with the extension tubes for both field and studio macro shots. For field work that set up was so so. After using the 80mm f2.8 it was amazing. Using the shortest focusing perameters hand held and set for auto focus it was spot on for moving subjects. I have been using it for studio macro shots both static and splash art with flash . This set up with the XT4 really is hard to beat. Utilizing the on board image stabilization along with the lens stabilization produces tack sharp results 5 |

We use both Fuji X and Micro 4/3 lenses for our cameras (zcam, pocket cinema, fuji). I am extraordinarily amazed on the performance of these cheap Panasonic lenses when compared to expensive Fuji counterparts. If you need a good and cheap prime for interviews, that produces nice blurry background, this lens will not disappoint. 5 |

I own a number of Fuji's top-end lenses for the X-series cameras, and this is my new favorite lens for my X-T2. Yes, it's manual focus. Yes, it's heavy. But it produces *amazing* artistic results for creative photographers. The bokeh is stunning, the ergonomics and build quality are great, and with excellent focus-peaking on the newest Fuji cameras, focusing is easy and intuitive. In my opinion, this lens can't be beat for low-light shooting on the X-series, or when you want a super shallow depth of field for artistic effects. So glad I bought this lens - would definitely buy again. Would love to see Mitakon Zhongyi produce a similarly fast wide angle lens (e.g. a 12mm f/0.95), which could be epic for astrophotography on the X-series. My only gripes are that I wish it came with a lens hood instead of a fancy carry case (I had to buy a generic one separately), and I'd like it if the focus ring were a little wider and moved in front of the aperture ring (to match Fuji's first-party lenses). 5 |

One of the most attractive features of the Fuji X Series cameras is their incredible lenses! To put an inexpensive, non-optical filter on those is like shooting through a window. The 60mm Macro is one of my favorites so choosing a Fuji filter was easy. Plus, the pricing that was offered made it a done deal as soon as I found it. I also purchased one for my other lens while I was at it. So glad I picked it up! 5 |

There are not a lot of cameras that fit a petite woman's hands, much less one who had a recent had procedure and needed the perfect lightweight kit that did not compromise quality images. I already have the Ricoh GR for street photography, but when traveling, the Ricoh's fixed lens didn't satisfy me for the variety of situations. I have a Fuji X-T20 and X-T3 as well as a plethora of other cameras, including film cameras. The x-t20 is getting old and lagging and the x-T3 was still too big for me when coupled with lenses. What I wanted was a digital camera that could handle every possible scenario that comes my way during travel -including street photography, portraits, landscapes, etc. - and I also needed it to use interchangeable lenses. Since I already have a full set of lenses for Fuji, I looked to this brand first. It was between the X-T30ii and the x-e4. The X-E4 seemed just a bit too minimalist and I knew I was already compromising the dPad, so to also miss all the dials seemed too drastic of a change. In the end, it seemed the X-T30ii could offer me all that familiar dials and buttons I have on my X-T3 but in a smaller package. It seemed with 30fps it could also even handle the occasional wildlife shot. I could not be happier! I've got the compact, lightweight style of my X-T20 with way more enhancements and the image quality of my X-T3, only better, actually! And I get to use my beloved Fuji lenses, depending on the excursion. I'm not sure if I'll still need to bring my Ricoh for street, either. I'm enjoying the street shots with my 18mm and it's compact enough. 5 |

I was impressed with Fuji lenses many years ago when doing large format work. I have purchased several of their cameras and a few primes in the last few years and am very pleased! After a period of cogent research I found more than enough positive information to purchase this lens. I am quite pleased with the results so far. 5 |

Works really well, especially if you're on a budget but also have lenses that don't have image stabilization. 5 |

It was a tough decision between the Canon and Fuji. I felt that the Canon 15x50 was more forgiving because of the larger exit pupil. However, the optical clarity seemed to be better on the Fuji. To me stabilization appeared pretty good on both. Most people felt the Fuji was superior in stabilization. I haven’t had a chance to try it out in a moving vehicle or on a boat. The adjustable eyepiece distance was a plus for me on the Fuji. The only downside is that the Fuji makes a rather loud sound when engaging the stabilization. Ultimate, I decided to go with the Fuji. 2 things would make the Fuji perfect: 1. Quieter stabilization engagement. 2. Larger exit pupil 5 |
