I love my Kodak PIXPRO FZ55 Digital Camera (Blue)!!!! I give it a 5 star rating!!!!! I love the color of Blue!!!! I just have to learn how to use it. The only thing that I did not like was IT DID NOT HAVE AN OWNER'S MANUAL with it!!! Why do you not include a Owner's Manual????? How are you to learn about the camera & how to use it if there is no manual????? Otherwise I love it!!!! Include an owner's manual with each camera so customers can learn how to operate their new cameras!!!!!

I was in search of an Instax camera as a creative outlet and to put a retro spin on my photography hobby. I'd looked at the popular Fuji Instax line of cameras, and even had a Mini 90's in a cart, ready to purchase... but I kept having one nagging question in the back of my mind that kept me from pulling the trigger. This is pretty automatic, and you're stuck at F/12.7. Is this going to really give me the creative control I'm looking for, or would this be better for parties and grabbing quick-memories? Well, I'm not a teenager. I don't really go to too many parties, and the novelty to my friends of an instant photo is a great for sharing, but it doesn't really fulfill my personal goals. However... F/5.7 for lower light and/or shallow depth of field and Manual Focus, coupled with shooting a kind of camera that I'd never shot before? THAT sounds more like what I was looking for! First up... it's expensive. You could buy a Fuji Mini 90, a Fuji 300 wide, a Fuji SP-1 Instax Printer, AND more than 100 shots of film for less than you can buy this one camera by itself... and it doesn't even include a neck strap. That's straight-up daunting, if I'm being honest. On that fact alone, I couldn't recommend this camera for someone who just wants to shoot the Instax Mini format for fun. It took me a week to really mull that over. Am I glad I made the decision I did? Absolutely. This camera has taught me to slow down, compose, and consider. Each shot matters, so I care and think more on every one. This camera WILL take more skill/time and trial/error to get quick shots in focus than other automatic options. Vignetting occurs at high aperture settings. I'm running out of characters B&H will let me use, so let's wrap up this up with pros/cons: Pros: Manual Focus, f 5.6, glass lenses, fun bonus aperture (mine was a clover!), hidden flash, optional ND filters, close up filters, and lens hood Cons: Manual Focus, expensive, light-meter not very dependable in bright light

I mounted this lens on my Fuji X-H1. I set the manual focus assist at high res red; set the lens at F8 and the focus at 3 meters for a zone focus of 1.5 M to infinity. Set my iso and shutter speed dials to manual and, with my small Sekonic incident light meter, took a walk around town. The experience nearly replicates the feel of my camera walks of thirty years ago with a manual film camera. Lens build quality is very good, aperture ring has firm clicks, focus ring turns smoothly, images are sharp. I have plenty of Fuji AF prime lenses so didn't need this to fill a focal length hole. I bought it for the user experience. To slow myself down and take my shooting method back to the basics.

I already own Fuji's XF60mm F2.4 R Macro lens, and purchased the Zeiss because of it's 1:1 magnification ratio, as I am predominantly a flower photographer. Of course, I also expected increased sharpness, etc., just because of who is was manufactured by. The lens is scary-sharp from wide open through F/22. In relation to the Fuji 60mm, it seems to produce maybe 1/2 stop more brightness with the same camera(X-E1) settings, although I arrive at this point subjectively. It focuses almost exactly like the Fuji 60mm, slow and laboring if you miss the focus point and the lens travels to infinity and back. I only use it in manual focus mode, in conjunction with my X-E1's Autofocus lock. It is a little noisy as the lens resolves to the new position as the focus ring is turned. It is not a sports lens due to the slowness of it's contast-based focus method. You can use old film camera/manual focus tricks such as pre-focusing for action shots if you're willing to work on your hand-to-eye coordination. Works at my Grand-daughter's soccer games fine, but may be risky if you're on assignment to cover an Olympic event. Then why 5 stars? Here it is for me. I wanted an extremely sharp 1:1 macro lens to photography flowers. There won't be a better one for this purpose made for the Fuji X-series. AF-L, then manually fine tune focus (with focus-peaking), then make the capture with 2-second timer engaged, most of the time on a tripod. That would be my workflow in any case. I got exactly what I wanted.

I purchased two Fuji camera before, this is the first time camera came without a manual. I did not see any instruction how to get it either. I guess Fuji assumes you will figure out. (Download 450 pages) Another issue, it comes with USB-C wire. I have a iMac, not too old, but has USB-A connection. I had to buy USB C to A wire. Last, Apple photo transferred the raw image data (first pictures) without actual image? I transferred to adobe and was able to see the images. Initial google search was not helpful, hopefully I will figure out.

On-line is just not the same as the no longer provided printed manual. For a relatively inexpensive $10 I got one that used to come with the camera! You would think that for $6,000 Fuji would toss in a manual!

Does a very nice job. I use it with my Fuji x camera and the voigtlander and Leica lenses. A must if you need close focus with manual M mount lenses

It took me a while to set it up and learn the Nikon system as I had been a Canon and Fuji system user before but that was because the manual was no better than any other camera manual. Thank God for You tube. All of that being said I love the camera and the 24-120 is perfect for me. I wanted to simplify my life photographically and this is allowing me to do just that. Now I can just focus on getting great photos and not which lenses to take along. The D780 has all of the great features of an slr as well as some of the best features of mirrorless. So far I couldn't be happier
