This is a very nice, stable rig for my Fuji Finepix S-1; it is replacing an older model Slik I've had for a number of years now (U6600) since I wanted something a little taller and stronger-built yet not massive. I'm learning the ins and outs of HDR and Time-lapse, both of which activities mandate using a tripod. I should add (for the sake of the purists shaking their heads at this point) that I'm not a pro; strictly amateur, trying to learn something while having a bit of fun at the same time with somewhat limited means. I use this on my Zhiyun S3 Pro gimbal with a Z Cam F6 to Atomos Ninja V setup. It handles the data smoothly allowing me to capture 12-bit 5.8K Apple ProRes RAW with no dropouts or lost connections (something other HDMI cables I've used struggle with). The length is just long enough and doesn't leave me with drooping cables or too little slack - though I wish it was maybe one or two inches longer! But, that's just for my setup and me being picky. Not a criticism of the cable itself. 5 |
