Fuji Professional Camera Reviews

there's not much more to say that other reviews haven't already covered - this lens is a winner. since i purchased this it's been on my camera (fuji x-t2) constantly - great image quality, super fast, wonderfully sharp, and it's just wide enough and versatile for a multitude of subjects. i could not be happier with this lens - a must have if you are a fuji x-system user. 5 |

This is my first Fuji camera and I have to say I am very impressed with the build quality and performance of the camera. After watching countless reviews on YouTube, I decided to take the plunge. I was looking for a small everyday carry camera with a fixed lens, weather sealing and a quiet shutter. The X100V is definitely what I wanted and more, given its capabilities and features. Finally, kudos to B&H for their quick fulfillment, service and expedited shipping. They are the best and why I've been using them for decades. 5 |

...and it charges batteries. Which it does as well as you would expect. But have you ever known of a professional photographer who charges batteries directly in the camera? Of course you haven't. A separate charging unit is as essential to a professional grade camera as a lens. How else can you ensure a continuous work flow? It's 5 stars for this charger, because it does work well (and I would recommend it heartily) and it isn't the charger's fault that Fuji are too tight to provide this essential item in with the body when you purchase it. 5 stars for the charger; 1 star for Fuji. 5 |

I have seen a lot of reviews for this camera and they are right! The camera is great, for a just photo person, to a starting amateur or to a mature professional. Settings are easy, focus is great, small, compact and solid. 5 |

Professional- I was about to go with Nikon for my business, but looked at reviews on imaging resource and compared All the great Nikons, including Full frame and believe it or not, this little jewel beat the D90 hands down on high iso shooting. The kit lenses are also sharper on Pentax than on Nikon & Canon kits. It even looked better than some of the full frame camera comparisons between Nikon & Canon. The KX just came out, so there's not a lot of reviews, but the ones that are out there, convinced me that it is better than the more expensive name brands. And yes, I am pleased with the image quality.Bought it here at BH - used the money I saved to add TTL flash, and off camera bracket & diffuser. Plan to buy another at BH for back up camera. 5 |

Some professional reviews suggest dated autofocus. I have found that in a near-dark room, the X-T5 focuses almost instantly, locking onto an edge somewhere in the low light. The ISO at 12,800 is good enough to justify the smaller, lighter APS-C format without resorting to a full frame camera for lower noise (rivals my wife's Nikon Z7 for instance). Feels good in the hand and the images are sharp and clear. A great camera; really no complaints. I should mention that I rarely take video so I cannot comment on movie performance. 5 |

I've often wondered when digital cameras would evolve into sensible designs that weren't hybrids for transitioning from analog equipment - all those same kind of ugly me too designs that I never liked, and couldn't bring myself to throw my money at. Well, here is my opinion on this long awaited design, the one I've been waiting years for: The camera not only gets rave reviews for innovation, and for good reasons (read formal reviews), it's light in weight, small in size, produces very high image quality, is user friendly, reasonably priced, has interchangeable lens capability, is smart looking, and can be used for professional work. It was long overdue on the market. The fairly large low noise sensor, even at the high ISO settings, outdoes many professional DSLR's on the market (I use various high end DSLR's for my professional work at times but I don't personally own any of them). And that's the bottom line for me. It has everything I could ask for in features; image quality, built quality, controls/settings, and much more that I don't require. After extensively researching all the cameras in the same class I decided that this is the one for me. The very compact and lightweight 28mm-84mm (35mm equivalent) zoom lens it came with is also all I could ask for - my two favorite lenses for my old 35mm film cameras were the 28mm and the 85mm fixed focal lengths - it's my dream come true. I love this camera, which produces very large 35Mb image files that easily please those who buy them when I use it for business transactions. And the hot shoe allows me to use my older studio flash units. The on board pop-up flash is a plus for the point-n-shoot people, which I find myself doing at times even though I prefer total manual control without any enhancements switched on. The HD movie mode will also please when there's a need for it. Simply put, it's a great camera to own. 5 |

Ive read some of the reviews talking about how this tripod wouldnt hold their very expensive equipment in place. If you consider yourself a professional photographer, with Very Expensive (and probably very heavy) equipment, maybe you should consider spending a little more money and buy yourself a professional grade tripod. Im just your average guy wanting to take some great photos with my Nikon Coolpix P900 camera with a 24-2000mm zoom lens. I had purchased the camera as a package that came with a tripod. (No, I didnt purchase the camera package from B&H. I Wish I had found their website sooner!) That tripod was a toy. This is a Real tripod. I ordered this tripod from B&H after reading all kinds of reviews and watching numerous videos on youtube of different kinds of tripods. I am retired and have a modest budget, so this was about as much as I could invest in a tripod. Im so glad that I made this purchase from B&H. The tripod was delivered 2 days BEFORE the scheduled delivery date. That impressed me with the promptness of B&H. Good job for that. The tripod itself was just what I had wanted. In my opinion it is a Very High quality tripod for the money. Materials are Solid, everything works as advertised and the versatility is Incredible! So if youre someone that Just likes to take the best photos that you can with what you have, then I would highly recommend this tripod. And I would Highly recommend that you purchase it from B&H. Im truly impressed with their service. And trust me, Im not easy to impress! GREAT PURCHASE ALL AROUND. 5 |

As any number of professional reviews will tell you, this is a pretty great camera for a a brand that has sadly fell into some level of obscurity. If I had to replace mine, I would buy another without hesitation. 5 |

As you have likely read in other reviews by now, the XF 18-135 is an extremely versatile lens and one that I take along on all my vacations, and even business trips where I know I'm going to have some time for photography. For what it is, it's lightweight and compact, and fits nicely inside my travel/work backpack. Because of the focal range that it covers, it makes packing other, more narrow ranges unnecessary. If I have a bit more room, I may also pack my Fuji X-70 or Fuji X100F for subtle street and evening photography. Or you can pack a 23mm prime and you'll be a ready for anything. 5 |
