Fuji Underwater Camera 140
J Breckenridge | 2024-04-24 06:24:36 |
This bag is perfect for me. In the camera carrier, it holds my Fuji XT3 with the 50-140 attached, with just enough room for one or two wider primes. The rest of the bag has plenty of room for my lunch, a jacket, water, and an extra body or other camera gear. It fits my back and shoulders well and is comfortable to wear. A bonus is the camera carrier is also removable which let's me shove it in other larger packs if I need more room. I had an older 2015 version of this same pack and I have to say this big upgrade. I really like it. 5 |

So here is a Fuji 1.4x teleconverter that works with exactly one current lens -- the Fuji 50-140 f/2.8 zoom. To use this TC, one must first update the firmware in the camera, then update the firmware in the 50-140 lens (must be done in that order). So how does it work once all this is done? Very well -- the final images are sharp, the focus is still relatively quick with an X-T1 body, and the camera shows the correct aperture. Final images are better than my Fuji 55-200 lens, and it's a little faster at the long end (f/4 vs f/4.8). If you are a pro who needs the extra reach and a fixed aperture zoom, this will help. I'll certainly get use out of it on a weekly basis. 5 |

Everything you expect from a Fuji camera! It took pictures underwater, without damage, and it also took pictures above water, that came out crystal clear. It's a great price for a waterproof disposable, and it lives up to its name. There is no zoom, so all pictures are taken at 35mm distance. If you're looking for a simple underwater disposable camera, this is the ideal brand. 5 |

If you already own a compatible Fuji X-series tele zoom lens (mine's the 50-140 f2.8), then you should definitely purchase their 1.4x teleconverter, which extends your lenses reach. It takes up practically no space in a camera bag, and the optical quality is remarkable. Just get one; you'll thank me. 5 |

I was suspect when I first purchased this item. The 50/140 2.8 Fuji lens is exceptional sharp crisp quick focus. The 1.4 teleconverter gave me added reach and has not affected the image quality. 5 |

The Fuji 16-55 2.8 and this 50-140 2.8 + 1.4x TC are a bag o primes. I've bought and sold all the XF 1.4/1.2 lenses and now travel with these (kept the 16mm 1.4 for astro, wide macro, natch). The colors, sharpness, flaring, bokeh and contrast are excellent. You'll pay more for these two red badge zooms, and they're not light, but you can shoot 90% of all your needs and produce some of your favorite images. Not to mention they're built like tanks. 5 |

As are my other Fuji optics, this TC is very well made - tightly fitting on both the 100-400 and the 50-140 with effectively zero slop or play. And the optics are outstanding - sure it's a little pricey but I'm glad I got it as having the image on the sensor maximized when taking the shot makes for better output than cropping the recorded image. 5 |

I’m an amateur photographer that take pics of nature and sports. I use this in combination with my 70/140 Fuji lens. Work perfect as all other Fuji products, really sharp. Caveats: the gear will become bulky and reduce 2 Fstops. Basically this is more oriented to outdoors and dark skies where you compensate with long exposures or plenty of light. Love it already. 5 |

I was trying to choose between a 1.4x TC and a 2x TC for my 50-140 f/2.8 Fuji zoom. After reviewing user feedback on Fuji user forums, I chose the 1.4. It gives me an effective range of 105mm - 294mm with just 1 stop less light, not an issue for landscape work. And I keep the weatherproofing of my original lens and get all adjusted exposure information on the camera when the TC is installed. A good cost compromise over buying a new zoom lens with comparable specs. 5 |

I took shots at dark. The camera saw what I could not. It is going to be quite useful in my underwater adventures. 5 |
