Fuji Xf 56Mm 1.2

I bought this for my Fuji XF 56mm f/1.2 lens so I could shoot at shallower depths of field in bright light. This filter, like my other B+W filters, does not disappoint. 5 |

I have the XF 56mm f/1.2 and the XF 23mm f/1.4. Which are both very very nice in their own right, but this is just better. This lens is unforgettable. I can't think of anything bad. The performance is stunning, the manual clutch is awesome, it looks absolutely gorgeous with the LH-XF16 lens hood, and I really like the perspective. Since I got the lens it hasn't come off my X-T1. I find myself coming up with excuses to go out and take pictures, because of this lens. Money well spent. 5 |

I have the Fuji XF 56mm f1.2 and XF 16mm F1.4 and they are very sharp lenses. By comparison, the XF 90mm does not disappoint. The focal length at f2 produces incredibly creamy bokeh. Autofocus works great on my X-T1 and X-E2 bodies. I have not used this lens very much since I just purchased it a few weeks ago, but already I can tell this is a keeper. Leica quality 20% of the cost. Outstanding! 5 |

Just a got this lens, the Fuji 56mm f/1.2 lens and the Fuji XT-1 camera. This lens is very well built and has a solid feel to it when handling it. I think it is compact and light given it has some serious glass in it and a low f/1.4 aperture. It is equal to 53mm in actual focal length which is often referred to as a normal lens. You can get get in close to subject and still be able to focus but this is not a macro lens. Produces great color and is sharp as a razor, even when shooting at the wide open aperture of f/1.4 This lens will become a must have when I travel. If this is a focal length of lens you that you like to use, then I would definitely get it. 5 |

For the price you can't beat the Viltrox 56mm 1.4. It provides very clear images with really nice bokeh. At 1/3 the price of the Fuji 56mm 1.2 it is the winner in terms of value. Not as clear on the corners as the Fuji 1.2 but you really have to be looking for a difference to notice. It also has some slight color distortions on the edges with sunlight but also nothing that is very noticeable unless you are really looking. I love this lens and am using it a lot on my Fujifilm X-T20. 5 |

I was debating between the 90mm f/2 lens and 56mm f/1.2 lens and opted for the 90mm because the focusing is faster and I had the 50ish focal lens covered with the 18-55mm kit lens. I couldn't be happier with my decision, this lens is super sharp and focus is accurate and faster than many of my other Fuji lenses. It's not as versatile as the 56mm but if you have the distance it will produce excellent images. I made a side-by-side comparison with my 5D3+70-200mm f2.8L IS II lens @135mm with the X-T10+90mm f/2 (fuji actual FF equivalence 137mm f/3), both wide open and 1/125s and I can say the sharpness and bokeh are very similar so it's difficult to distinguish what combo was used. The only drwaback is that the Fuji lens is not provided with IOS that would be highly beneficial. I will keep using for my outdoor portraiture and later may add the 56mm f/1.2 5 |

It’s bigger than Fuji 16mm 1.4 but not much more. It’s a sharper lens of the two. Sharper than Fuji 56mm 1.2 ver I. Sharper than Viltrox’s own 33mm 1.4.. on top of all that, it has very little chromatic aberration- at least I didn’t notice it. On X-H2 the lens fits balanced and comfortable. Overall highly recommended 5 |

This is not only a great alternative to the Fuji 56mm f/1.2 but a great lens in its own right. It is amazingly sharp and gives fast focus. I would highly reccomend this lens to anyone considering the Fuji 56mm or anyone just looking for an APS-C portrait lens. 5 |

This is easily Fuji’s best x-mount portrait lens, and yes even better than the 56mm 1.2 It’s one of the larger primes, although I haven’t tried the new 50mm f/1 lens yet. You can get a very shallow depth of field for head and shoulders portraits, and it focuses super fast too. The only thing I don’t like is how far back from the model I have to be to capture a full length image. You need about 8-10 feet for waist up. The bokeh is great, very creamy, a smooth rendering, and nothing distracting. Even indoors I’ll try to use this lens even if that means I have to back up into the hallway of the studio to get the shot. I sold my other copy of this lens thinking I could shoot with the 56mm for everything. But i kept thinking “I wish I had the 90 right now” Get it if you shoot portraits! 5 |
