Fujifilm 10 Megapixel Camera

Even tho I was a little disappointed I did pre-order the E-5. I was thinking Oly would come out with an 18-24 megapixel, 10 fps shutter speed camera. I realized I am using the 10mp E-3 and printing 17 by XXXX photographs that were superior to my friends higher mp better selling brand cameras. I received the E-5 in October 2010. Having used this for a little better than 3 months I have put it to the test, in as far as how I will be using the camera. I must admit, I would have liked 8/10 fps but 5 was good for me in the past so it'll have to do. One thing I haven't touched yet is the movie mode. I was going to put this down as a con (for me) but who knows, I might wake up tomorrow and try it and like it. What I look for in a camera is 1. RELIABILITY my Oly OM1, bought in Feb. 1973 after being discharged from military madness, 38 year old camera is in excellent working condition. I have not had a problem with any of my Olympus cameras. Unless you want to count the time my E-510 crashed to the concrete from 6 stories. I have had a couple Cannons and Nikons along the way which no longer work. 2 COLOR RESULTS which Oly's are true to life. I shoot 90% RAW, JPEG when the situation arises. I was very impressed with the JPEGS right from the camera. Oly's JPEG's were always the best - these really did impress me. 3. EASE of USE. Going from E-1, E-510, E-3 to E-5 it is part of me, or maybe I'm part of it. 4. CAMERA/LENS combination. In my view Olympus/Zuiko is tops. I seldom go over 800 iso so I'll leave this alone. I must admit I came close to falling for the megapixel myth. Olympus made changes where they would truly make a difference. One last thing. The mirrorless systems have caught my eye. I will be watching. As always, B&H your the best. 5 |

A little pricey, but I managed to photograph roughly 1300 pictures with my 10 megapixel camera. So I highly recommend these batteries. 5 |

Works excellent for my 40 Megapixel Fujifilm X100VI. It is also the card that the Fujifilm technicians included in their demo models that they sent out to professional camera testers! ;-) 5 |

With my Fujifilm XT4 @ 400MBs, 10 bits... I was able to do interviews for long times, without the camera to stop or freeze up. 5 |

The 16mm from Fuji definitely delivers. It has replaced my Fujifilm 10-24mm as the lens most often on my camera. Fantastically sharp at all apertures. 5 |

I purchased the case for my Fujifilm TX 10. It fits well, except that on the case, the lens is meant to be on the side, but on the actual camera, the lens is in the middle. As a result, a bit of the side remains exposed when the case is closed. However, the case does not specify that it works for this camera, so it is not the fault of the manufacturer. Overall, I think the case is a good deal for the money. 5 |

It doesn't have the highest megapixel count but it is a great secondary camera, street photography camera, or beginner camera because of its compact size and great features. It does have Sonys old menu system but for me I almost never use it anyways. If you do decide to get this camera I recommend getting a thumb grip for it and maybe a grip extender if you have bigger hands. The actual picture quality is amazing especially for the price. I switched to this camera from canon and I have no regrets at all. 5 |

I can use this 50 megapixel data back with an Ebony 4x5 camera (or similar) and a Shen Hao data back adapter to collect and stitch 5 images to get a 160 megapixel panorama. The depth, sharpness, resolution and color accuracy are amazing, sufficient to print 65 inches wide at 300 pixels per inch. 5 |
