Fujifilm 24Mp Camera

Great camera. I will not outgrow for a while. Easy to operate and 24mp makes nice image.

This is the best mirrorless camera that I've ever used. The video is remarkable and the 24MP photo resolution is more than I need in this application.

I was a little apprehensive about getting a 24mp camera to replace my 50mp camera. I only just got it & going through initial testing & feeling the quality of this camera, I am more than happy about this purchase! The R6 Mark II is truly a remarkable camera. The size difference is a nice addition. Just a couple of things to get used to, but this camera is a keeper!

Use it on my FujiFilm camera

Use it in a Fujifilm camera and it works excellently.

I shoot with a 2000D cropped 24MP. I’ve used this lens for real estate and family photos and the results have been amazing! I do recommend using a tripod. My AF has struggled a bit hand held. But, when fixed using a remote trigger this lens takes stunning shots. I took a group shot last night and zoomed all the way in to check the AF and could actually see fibers in the threads of a lady’s sweater. And at this price-point? Buy the darn thing!

Nikon has hit it out of the park with this lens - optically it is absolutely fantastic. It's sharp wide open in the center at all focal lengths, and across the entire frame again at all focal lengths stopped down to f/7.1 for landscapes. Great Nikon colors and contrast. Distortion is well controlled and field curvature is relatively minimal even at 16mm. My only two gripes are that the AF is somewhat noisy compared to the 24-120 which I also own, and the VR is not particularly effective. This seems to be a trend with wide to mid zooms that have VR - the 24-120 has the same problem. Certainly on a 24mp DX camera like the D5500, you won't achieve maximum sharpness at 2 stops below reciprocal rule handheld (e.g. 1/15sec at 60mm equivalent). Overall I would say it is superior to the 24-120 and can deliver as good or better results on a 24mp DX camera as the FX lens delivers on a D610/D750. Good one Nikon!

Exceeded expectation. So sharp that It is undersampled for 24MP sensor (i.e. lens out-resolves the sensor). Very low distortion. Edge/corner is nearly as sharp as central. Star images are so tight that image reduction causes dimmer stars to disappear. Small, lightweight yet solid metal. Well machined and calibrated (Infinity setting really is infinity focus). Manual focus and aperture is smooth with just the right viscosity.

This camera makes me want to shoot! It's honestly my favorite fujifilm camera! Love it!

Brought this recently for my Fujifilm camera to use while hiking and have to say these are top quality.
