Fujifilm Camera Control Software

Really enjoying the Fujifilm Instax Mini Eco. It is what it is, an instant camera that you control what to print. I really love seeing the surprise on people's face as I crank the Print lever and they see the photo coming out. Everyone loves the pictures. Exactly what I wanted,

I use this with a Nikon d7100 to transfer pictures to my PC and also to tether the camera to the PC to use Control my Nikon software. Works great!

This cable permits me to use the Canon software to control the Canon camera form inside my car. It does not matter how cold or how many insects are flying about. I have complete control of the caners jut not the zoom feature of the lens, but all exposure, aperture and many other camera feature, including interferometer. Image is then displayed right on my laptop screen from the comfort of my car. Great for night star pictures of prolonged photography situations. Full recommend this product. All camera equipment bodies and lenses are Canon equipment

CMOS camera and software provides excellent control over recording conditions. Recent viewing session had clear skies but windy conditions so the telescope image was very jumpy. Nevertheless, using short exposure times the resulting captured videos of the moon are excellent. I look forward to nights with more stable conditions in order to use long exposure settings on fainter objects.

This greatly simplified our PTZ camera control and video switch using vMIX. I like the fact that the software does not install all the plugin available, so you do not impede performance with unnecessary plugins. Getting up and running was the easy. When I purchased it, I did not realize that it actually has multiple pages of 32 buttons. So I got more bang for the buck then I realized. This replaced a ThrustMaster 1600 joystick that I was using for the same purpose and this is just easier.

Ran this cable from the PTZ camera and was able to control it via software 200' away. Very nice cable. Get the Neutrik etherCON RJ45 Feed-Through Coupler to go with this. They go together like bread and butter.

I've given this gimbal 5 star rating because in my opinion it is excellent quality, and great value. I would deduct half a star if I could because of some software issues with my Nikon Z6. Camera control from the gimbal works, but not without its hiccups, and issues. I have not been able to pin point how, when or why this happens.. but it appears the Z6 will freeze/lock up when either the gimbal or the camera goes into sleep mode, it wont turn On or Off. I have to take the camera off the gimbal, pull the battery out, in order to get it working again. I've been using the gimbal and the Z6 without the camera controls, so that means I cant press record directly from the gimbal, or control focus. In my opinion it should be an easy fix with a software update to the gimbal, and not enough to warrant deducting a whole star.

I bought this kit to see if it would be possible for me to control my telescope/camera with my laptop from a distance.  I normally drive to remote sites in the countryside, set up my gear and record asteroid occultations.  I have spent many cold nights outside pursuing this hobby.  I have 4 USB devices connected to the laptop that I need to support.  First is the telescope mount connection to the control software on my laptop, second is the wi-fi antenna for the wireless gamepad that I use to control the scope if Im at the eyepiece, third is a GPS puck that syncs time, position and elevation to the mount and the planetarium program on the laptop and fourth (most difficult and most important) is the camera connection where the camera outputs avi or FITS files to the SSD on the laptop via USB.  This camera connection has to provide enough bandwidth to avoid dropping any frames.  Besides being uncomfortable in the winter sitting outside with the laptop, I also started experiencing very poor performance with the laptop when the temps were below freezing.  Last night I sat comfortably in my van watching my laptop (also warm in the van) while all other equipment was at the other end of a 50 CAT6 cable.  Performance was flawless and I recorded 4 minutes of video without a single dropped frame.  I really cant think of a better endorsement.  For me, it was as if the 4 devices were plugged directly into the laptop.  I had NO reliability issues and NO performance issues.  Plus, installation is as painless as can be.  Just plug it in.  No software to install.  Completely transparent.  Im really happy with this product.
