An absolutely stellar lens from Fujifilm! This may be Fuji's best lens in their already awesome lineup. Extremely sharp from corner to corner. Wonderful bokeh for a 16mm lens and superb micro contrast. Great color rendition and distortion is practically nonexistent. The close focusing distance of 6 inches allows this lens to also function as a pseudo macro lens in addition to landscape, street, and portraiture photography. One of the finest in the the Fujifilm lineup. The focal length makes it useful for portraits to sports and some wildlife. The fast f/2.8 does a great job of isolating the subject from the background. I have several Fujifilm lenses, but this is one of the finest! 5 |
