I have a Handycam DV tape camera, and for years I have tried periodically to transfer tapes to my computer. I'm fairly adept at solving these kinds of problems, but I guess I had lost the similar cable that came with the camera (if one was included). I tried to use the iLink but it wouldn't work with my Mac. In fact, way I finally was able to transfer from my camera to the Mac was to go from camera to VHS player with this tape, and then from the VHS player to the computer with the Roxio VHS to DVD (for Mac) cable/software. There may be a better way, but now I finally have a solution! 5 |
