Fujifilm Camera Processor

The most important thing I look for in a lens is: How close is its output to what I originally saw in the field. That's a lot to ask from a cylinder packed with shaped and polished glass. Since I am a photographer, I test my lenses by shooting people, various kinds of landscapes and various kinds of structures. During the processing phase, I can evaluate how close a lens comes to the ideal stated above. The Fujifilm 33 mm lens comes extremely close to this ideal. Its sharpness at f/1.4 is spectacular. The clarity of the image and the rendering of fine detail in the image is excellent. The color rendition looks natural and the chromatic aberration is almost non-existent so I don't have to spend any significant time removing color casts from my images. I use Capture One software to do all my exposure adjustments and then move the image over to Photoshop's Camera Raw for the finishing touches. I use Capture One because it's exposure adjustments tell me everything I need to know about the lens I used for the photograph and additionally how truly amazing Fujifilm's X-Trans Sensor is. The lens is only one piece of the equation because the sensor and its processor must be excellent, too. The good news is Fujifilm makes excellent lenses for its cameras and those of us who shoot Fujifilm cameras know the sensor and processor are first rate. The 33 mm lens will definitely show you just how good the Fujifilm sensor and processor are. The image quality is there to behold when the image is finally processed and with this 33mm lens, if you get your exposure right in the field, there is not a lot you will have to do when processing the image. If any of you out there who are reading this decide to buy this lens, you will not be disappointed.
