Fujifilm Camera Remote App Update

After turning it on I had some dificulties trying to update it via the app. Be sure to have a stable and strong internet connection to pass this stage quickly. (You may require to turn the bluetooth on and restart the app after doing so) If you cant pair the camera with the app after the update, try changing the frequency from 5.0 to 2.4Ghz. After this little inconveniences just go record something. The camera is amazing and the menu very intuitive. Stabilization awesome!

since my phone is a 2023 motorola and can't run the app... which was a pain for activating the camera... I had to purchase this unit to supply gps to the X3. It works good. lets you control the camera, and shows status.. seems to work okay.. I noticed some of my gps mappings were slightly off, but i guess its just a thing. The only wonky thing with this remote is it 'awakening the camera'.. someone it is quick, sometimes it takes long.. and sometimes i simply just turn it on manually even with it on top of my head. The straps are nice, fits nice around the handlebar. sometimes i've noticed pushing the putting to take a picture, doesn't always take a picture.. These could be novice things, i'm sure things will get smoother. enjoying the experience.. just wish the camera itself didn't require the app for certain things. While I have figured out how to manually update the firmware of the x3, i have not figured out how to do so with the remote control, without the app.

The FUJIFILM RR-100 Remote Release works very well.

I use this prompter in a small green screen setup. Subject is about 5 feet from the camera, and the prompter works perfectly. The only issue I had is with the remote and the software that is listed on this site and comes with the prompter. The remote didn't seem to work with anything, and I couldn't even find the app as listed. However, if you have an iPhone, the iCue and iCue remote app work beautifully. You can adjust the size and speed of your script very easily, you can go backward, forward, pause, etc., and you have as much control as you'll need. I was set up and rolling within 20 minutes of purchasing. Can't go wrong for the money. HOWEVER, I do have it mounted on a tripod and would think this would be very heavy for a camera man to lug in the field.

This set up has solved a pain point for me. I rely on the SONY mobile app for interior shots. The app and the phone have trouble working reliably as it seems having a known nearby WiFi access point causes my A6400's ad-hoc WiFi connection to be deprioritized. The remote connects reliably and consistently with great range between residential floors and behind walls to a receiver which uses a nice coiled cable to plug into the camera's microUSB port. The receiver mounts on the camera cold shoe mount, if equipped or using its 1/4"-20 thread, as pictured. There are several shooting modes and even bulb mode to select from using a LCD, which is back-lit when needed. The remote is not tiny and proportioned well, the buttons are easy to press and sized differently to help differentiate the shutter from the others. The lanyard is a nice and useful touch to prevent drops. This pair requires AAA batteries in both the remote and the receiver (which draws no power from the camera). I should also mention that the remote can be connected/ wired to the camera directly and in that mon-wireless case use, the receiver needs not be part of the set-up. This makes avoiding vibrations from camera- handling possible, for example for wildlife/ astro/ landscape/ product/ portrait photography without having to dig through the camera's contextual menus to use/ change the shooting modes. It's a good accessory for my A6400 and I recommend it for its quality and features. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't know what I was missing until I received this moniter. The graphics are amazing, and the audio is great. Once turned on, I immediately noticed the clarity on the moniter. This moniter is like a 2 in 1, not only can you game but you can also stream and watch shows and movies on it. Definitely a space saver for not having to have both a gaming moniter and a TV in the room. The moniter also comes with a remote, my older moniter didn't have these features. I also noticed that you can make video calls with a USB connected camera or using your phone as a camera. How cool is that? I immediately connected the moniter to my Samsung Smartthings app. Once connected, you can use a virtual remote on the app and select different content. This moniter is everything.

I like using this wired remote when I am taking landscapes or night pictures and the camera is on a tripod. It reduces camera shake to be able to hold the remote and not have to push the shutter button or set a timer. Even though I am using this with a Canon 6D which has wifi and an app that I can use with my phone, this is just quicker and I am looking through my camera and not on my cell phone. I also have a wireless remote which is also much simplier then the smartphone app.

Put it in the camera, installed canon app and I got remote shutter. Great with my 5DSR

Read the other reviews and you'll get a pretty good idea that Profoto are beautifully designed, and flawlessly manufactured, that's a given. . However, one thing few people mention is the user experience and how seamlessly these units get out of your way as a photographer.  . The first time you run across a firmware update its as simple as it could possibly be, just a few button pushes as it links with the Profoto App on your phone BRILLIANTLY SIMPLE. . After the first FW update, I'm left sitting there muttering Profoto get this stuff. . As for the Profoto App that links your iPhone to the A10, good grief, it's cool/simple and so logical, it's actually fun to use. . Yes, these units are expensive, but the user experience is worth every penny. Now, to find a camera system with this design ethos.......... :)

Love them. Downloaded app so I could update features to use volume controls and multi-pair.
