Fujifilm Cameras Good Or Bad

I bought the Fujifilm XF 100-400 mm lens for use with my XT-3 camera and I've been very happy with the combination in the four outings I've had since the lens arrived. The lens feels solid and well built; there is no zoom creep at all when held vertically even when unlocked. Images have been crisp with good resolution even at 400 mm and color rendition is good. Focus speed has been very acceptable in both single and continuous fashion. Obviously, the lens is larger and heavier than average but I come from old 35 mm film photography and if you consider that the equivalent full frame zoom range is 150 - 600 mm the size and weight are not bad at all. Heavy to carry around your neck all day, yes, but not bad at all in an appropriate photo back pack. The lens stabilization has allowed me to get sharp hand held photos at speeds of 1/60th of a second pretty reliably. It's been a nice addition not only for wildlife but also for landscapes with a unique perspective.

I had Fujinon lenses when I used 4x5. The lenses with the Fujifilm E series cameras are equally as good. I am very impressed and pleased with the quality I am getting from the E-100. It comes close to my Canon 5D MkII!! and I would say that the high ISO's are even better. In the digital world, as with film cameras, the lenses make a huge difference in the quality you get.

It is incredible how good cameras improved lately, I'm upgrading from Fujifilm X-Pro2, so I'm well familiar with Fuji products, and I wouldn't expect less in the future. Well-balanced camera - small, but very capable, and battery life is really beyond any prior experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras. Autofocus totally deserves 5 stars! Comfy in hand, light, video, and photo is perfectly fine for anyone who is just a beginner and prosumers!

Very practical and beautiful looking bag can hold up to 2 to 3 mirror less cameras. Also it’s a very good day-bag with my fujifilm camera and lunch packed inside

I have several cameras but non of these particular lenses so decided to give the website a try I've read both good and bad reviews for B&H but I am SO glad I tired them out, both my lenses (1 was Canon 1 was Nikon) came super fast, packed perfectly so very nicely protected, and exactly what was advertised on the website, I will absolutely purchase from B&H again. In fact I'm currently on the hunt for a new Camera and these guys are number 1 on the list to find one I want. Thank you for making my transactions easy, fast and perfect condition I'm extremely impressed.

First the bad. It's optically slow and it gets there pretty quickly -- it's already registering its slowest f6.3 aperture on the Z cameras by about the 85mm mark -- as such, you won't be isolating much optically with this lens, nor using it a lot in really dim light. This is really the only bad. Now the good. It's quite compact for its zoom range --the benefit of that optical slowness-- focuses fast and accurately, has the same color cast as my other Z lenses, is quiet and zoom function is butter smooth. With Z camera stabilization, I have successfully hand-held shots as low as sec at the 200mm end(!), so for me the optical slowness and inherent slower shutter speeds are mitigated somewhat by this; and then coupled with the excellent higher ISO performance of these cameras, the lens is usable in marginal indoor lighting situations -- just don't expect the same quality you achieve with faster lenses. The focal range is versatile for sure, optically this lens is very good from 24 through 135, and remains quite good right up to the 200mm mark. It turns your Z body into a very handy one lens do-it-all camera. I have faster primes and faster zooms in the ranges covered by this lens and so can easily grab one of them when the photographic situation calls for it -- but that also means this lens gets left on the camera a lot simply because of its ready-to-go versatility.

Voigtlander lenses are super well made. I use this on my Voigtlander Bessa and my Fujifilm mirror-less cameras.

What can't you love about disposable cameras? Fujifilm colours make these so fun!
