Fujifilm Dslr Camera Reviews

2024-04-14 07:28:12

I've been shooting on a 5DMIII for years, and was hoping the XT3 would be the mirrorless camera system that replaced my heavy DSLR. It was a blast to shoot on, I loved the way it felt and operated in hand, and was pretty impressed with the image as well. Ultimately, however, I ended up returning it and will instead get the 5D MIV, just because the Canon ecosystem has much to offer for editorial work and is better suited for fast-paced, professional work. However, if I was looking for a camera for general shooting, street photography, or travel, the Fujifilm XT3 would be my first pick, and in fact I plan to purchase one again in the future for personal use. In summary: The Fujifilm XT3 is such an awesome and fun camera to shoot on, and produces beautiful images, however I don't think it can replace a tried-and-true DSLR like the Canon 5D for everyday professional work.

I didn't really know what to expect from a third party lens for a Fujifilm camera. I've seen and heard reviews but you still don't know what you have until it's in your hands. The first time I used it was for a job and anxious about what I would be getting from it. I was not disappointed at all. It is a very sharp lens and easy to use. Great size and sturdy construction. Using peak focusing on the Fujifilm X-T3 was no problem. This was a very good choice and well worth it for the price too.

The reviews were correct! This is a great DSLR camera. I have no complaints. It has managed everything I've thrown at it... Although I have not tried it under stormy weather yet, but I'm sure it wouldn't let me down.

This is my first mirrorless camera. I also own Nikon DSLR's. I chose the Sony A6000 because of it's amazing reviews and the fact that this camera seems to be a legend in its class. I believe this camera came out in 2014 and is still being sold in 2020 even though additional models have been introduced by Sony. That's relatively unheard of in this era of digital cameras. Great camera and very pleased with it.

I normally don’t make reviews, but I thought someone should come in and defend the honor of this gadget after a couple less-than-stellar reviews. For a DSLR/Mirrorless shooter, this thing is a must-have. It’s just a supremely handy thing to have in your bag when you need it. When I’m shooting for the big screen, or need isolated audio tracks or phantom power, I’ll pull out my MixPre. But for simple web videos when that’s overkill (whether interview or run-n-gun b-roll), this thing’s great when you want to get 2 audio sources into the 3.5mm input on your camera. Obviously, there’s no pre-amps or phantom power, so I tend to only use with sources that have their own built-in preamps (like wireless mic receivers or a Røde videomic pro). I can lav up two subjects with my Sennheiser wireless mics and record each subject to a separate channel on my camera (on on the left, one on the right), which is amazing flexibility to have. Or I can run a wireless lav into one channel and my Røde Videomic Pro into the other and have that great lav/shotgun flexibility. All in all, can’t say enough good things about this device. Dollar-for-dollar, no device expands the audio capabilities of a DSLR/Mirrorless camera like this thing does. Just make sure you set your expectations right. And that means plugging in devices that boost their own signal.

I used it with a Nikon DSLR and a Fujifilm. Works pretty good. It's robust and not very heavy.

The Fujifilm X-T3 is extremely capable by offering a wide selection of options, yet easy to use - once you learn the rules. For Nikon or Cannon DSLR users learning the rules may be a challenge as some of the basic DSLR options are selected through menus while on the X-T3 they are mechanical switch selected. Took me awhile to adapt . . . as I still am. I like, really like, the Fujifilm X-T3 and am sorry I took so long to try the X series of Fujifilm cameras.

I converted from Canon DSLR to FujiFilm mirrorless, so I can use the Rokinon 12mm lens. And OMG, I never made a better choice. This lens is beyond amazing, it's a gift from Rokinon in price and capability. One lens from Rokinon is three lens in one, this Rokinon 12mm will replace three Canon/Nikon lenses. Do the research yourself and you'll fine it's better in quality, potential, and most of all $$$$ price. The other lens competitors can't match or compete in price with Rokinon. There is no single lens Canon/Nikon makes or would sell, that the Rokinon 12mm lens can do.

I recently ditched my Nikon DSLR for the Fujifilm X-T30 II, and I will never look back. The small form-factor makes it easy to take this camera wherever I go, and the film simulations produce some of the most gorgeous colors I've ever seen. Creating different film emulations for shooting scenarios has been a blast, and images look great even without any editing. The battery life is pretty good too.
