Fujifilm Instax Share Sp 3 Portable Photo Printer

I bought this printer for travel to replace my Fujifilm Instax SP-2 printer. I've used the Instax system for several years, but the new airport CT Scanners have been shown to fog film in a single pass (Kodak posted an advisory on Facebook to that effect). The Selphy printer system is not effected by the scanners. (Of course due to Covid-19, all my travel was cancelled anyway ...) Pros: (1) It works well. The prints are slightly better than I get from my Selphy. (2) The prints are thinner than the Selphy prints, and they come with a light adhesive on them. This works great if you keep a written journal of your travels, with prints pasted onto the pages. (3) It's rechargeable, and easy to use. (4) The prints are cheaper than the Fujifilm Instax Square prints (which are directly comparable to the Canon QX-10, but slightly more expensive than the smaller Instax credit card size prints (from the SP-2). (5) The Canon App is easy to use (but see the cons). Cons: (1) The printer comes with a trial pack capable of making only 3 prints! Initially, the printer supplies weren't even available. They are available now, but not as easy to find as the Instax prints. I assume this will change. (2) The battery is good for about 20 pictures; the battery on the SP-2 lasts much longer. (3) The Canon App is very basic - it can adjust the size of the print, and add some text, but it doesn't have any editing functions. It just selects the central part of your picture, so I use the iPhone Photos App to edit and crop before I use the picture. (4) You can't print directly to the printer from your camera. This only effects people using Fujifilm cameras.

Been using this with the Instax printer and works great. fun to be able to share with subjects when on assignment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Instax camera is actually one of the coolest devices I have seen. I have never had a portable printer to print pictures directly from my phone. The quality of the film is great and is perfect for quick printing!

Was using portable drives to transfer and share 100GB+ photo folders which was cumbersome and annoying. This little jewel let me transfer, store and share shots from 1000 pic shoots with ease. Everybody's happy - me and customer!

To use/control the printer, you download the free app in your phones AppStore. Once done I was able to set this up and connect my phone through Bluetooth so easily. The setup was a breeze. Even loading the film was easy!! It also has a yellow indicator line to show that it’s aligned correctly. Once that is done, the printer is ready to use. It’s as simple as that!!! This prints 3in x 5in photos in about 30 seconds from pressing the print button. It prints the picture just as it is on your phone. There are so many features that this printer has. This has 2 modes you can choose to print in to enhance your photo. The modes are “Instax-Rich” which prints your photos in richer colors. The“Instax-Natural” modes prints in the natural image colors. You can also adjust the saturation, contrast, and brightness manually. The app includes editable templates in which you can rotate, zoom, and crop a photo. You’re also able to add stickers and texts. Certain parts of the templates, you are able to change the colors of. So many features are customizable and that’s fantastic!! You can also choose to print a simple photo and add stickers and texts. The last interesting feature is the ability to convert content to a QR code and add that code to your photo. You can link a website, location, add a recorded sound, or add a hidden message. To wrap this all up, this all comes packed in a compact, sleek, and lightweight device. It fits nicely in my purse. They also included a nice wrist strap!!! I am in love with this printer!!!t

I was considering getting a printer from Instax's lineup of printers and eventually decided on this one because of the great value of the printer at the time I purchased it. I already have Instax Mini 9 camera and the old version of that printer (SP-1). This one is wide and I prefer taking landscape photos.I will say I do think the printer takes a considerable amount of time printing one photo but on the flip side it gives you an opportunity to cancel the photo if you have second thoughts. This film is NOT cheap so I actually prefer using the printer overall. Yeah, it might take some of the initial fun out of the experience when you're not using a camera but the disappointment of wasting expensive film on a terrible shot feels worse to me. If you miss having physical photos of your every day moments, I think this printer is a great option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am literally obsessed with this INSTAX Wide smartphone printer! I have owned a INSTAX Polaroid camera for about five years now, and I immediately fell in love with it. However, this printer is absolutely taking it to the next level. It is super convenient and super user-friendly. I love how you can crop/edit your photos, change filters, and view your photos before printing. I’ve noticed this helps eliminate film waste and makes my polaroid journey much more exciting. I can literally upload any photo I would like through the app and sync, my printer via Bluetooth and print within seconds. It also gives you an option to print multiples at the same time. Additionally, the whole initial set up took me approximately two minutes. After downloading the app it prompted me to connect using via Bluetooth and I was already on my way to printing my first photo. My husband, kids and myself all have so much fun using this printer and putting Polaroids of our family all over our house! I 10/10 highly recommend this printer!! It’s been amazing and great quality!

The Fujifilm instax wide film has amazing color. Highly recommended!

I love the quality of this film used for the Instax Share. I was skeptical at first but the pictures I have printed are clear and look beautiful. It's better to buy in bulk, i.e. the more boxes you buy, the less you pay for each film.

3 TB is good size to backup your photo and video files.
