Fujifilm M43 Camera

After several years of happily shooting with M43 (mostly Olympus) and APSC (mostly Fujifilm) cameras I've been keeping an eye out for a reasonably priced but modern full frame. So far I'm loving it. The S5 is well made and comfortable. Panasonic's UI has always been a favorite of mine. The 20-60 kit lens is nicer than expected. I picked up a couple of prime lenses for low light/subject separation. The 1.8's are a great match. There are a ton of reviews on the S5 that aren't complentary towards the autofocus. For what I'm looking for - family, pets, travel, cityscape, landscape - I have no complaints. I will probably stick with one of the other systems, at least for a while, to cover the occasional action shooting that I do. We'll see. Anyways, buy it, enjoy it.

This M43 active lock mount was much needed for my z cam e2 m4 as the original m43 mount on my e2 m4 had way too much wiggle between the camera and lens mount. Now with the m43 active lock my m43 mount lenses are mounted nice and firm to the mount and camera. It's easy to install with only 4 screws and the lock on the mount works great. Overall I am very happy with the product and my purchase. Recommend.

This is an amazing camera! Upgraded from a M43. Video and photo capabilities are awesome!

Use it on my FujiFilm camera

I wanted to have lightweight tripod for daily use and it is fit for the purpose. If you have m43 camera, this is perfect.

Use it in a Fujifilm camera and it works excellently.

As per the title,,, I have my M43 body plus three lenses, large camera strap (PD Slide), mini tripod, four batteries, four SD cards, a power bank plus cables, a notebook and pens, my iPad mini!, mains and 12v battery chargers and I've not even used the external zip pocket yet.

I am new to the m43 world. I have shot canon for years from film to digital with my main camera and lens combo a 5d3 and 35L. Got a g7 for a smaller family camera and for the video capabilities. This is a perfect camera. Super sharp. Quick. Good color. Oh and super small. If you have a m43 camera, this is a must own lens.

My all time favorite m43 lens. Sharp from edge to edge with 1 stop down. This thing is on my camera body most of the time now, and I'm having so much fun and so many great pics. I chose this over the Olympus 7-14mm mainly for the filter threads by the way. But also for the zoom range. I find 8-18mm more versatile than 7-14mm.

I shoot both Nikon FX DSLR & m43 with great glass on both systems. I use m43 to bring the smallest/best possible camera & lens with me in social situations where one cannot appear to be a pro photographer. Restaurants, nightlife & concerts. The Zuiko Pro 17/1.2 is my #1 lens for this purpose. It on an E-M5 III looks like a serious camera but is inconspicuous enough to not kill the vibe while I'm out living an interesting life and taking photographs along the way. You can shoot wide open at f/1.2 and have thin but usable DOF. Close up food photography I'll stop down anywhere from f/1.6 to f/4 depending on how much DOF I want. Sharpness, color, contrast, smoothness of bokeh, whatever optical criteria is close enough to flawless. Focus is super fast on Olympus phase detect bodies, silent, accurate & the build quality is impeccable. My only knock is the Zuiko Pro lens hoods aren't as nice as the top spec PanaLeicas but such is life. They're fine. I'm not complaining. The results speak for themselves. Just buy it!
