Strap not needed for Finepix S1 point & shoot which has the neck/shoulder strap included. All were gifts and looks like a quality, secure, quick-release strap. Trying to figure out what else I could use it for.:-) Will most likely exchange for other type of accessories or camera.

I bought this case to hold my new Fujifilm waterproof Finepix XP130 in my lifejacket pocket for a 7 day in the bush canoe trip in the Lake Kipawa region in Quebec Province. I liked the design because it seemed to offer the most physical protection with minimal material that would stay wet if it got soaked in the rain or a dumping. I used the caribiner clip to have the camera on me in camp when I wasn't wearing my lifejacket. I'd replace the plastic one with one that is easier to unhook from my belt loop. The draw-string worked well to keep the camera secure when needed. I stored an extra SD card in the bottom in a small Ziploc type bag. I liked the case for this type of trip.

I gave my point-and-shoot to my grandson and bought a new, better camera. I wanted low-light capabilities for family pictures, and also a light-weight and pocketable camera for taking with me (especially backpacking). This puppy weighs in at one pound (I carry about 22 pounds, including water). I also looked at the Fujifilm E-X1, which is a beautiful camera - great pictures, and better low-light than the Sony a6000. But the weight and bulk tipped the balance (so to speak) for me. Both cameras have the same size sensor, but the Fujifilm kit lens is better. I could not ask for a more considerate, polite, lenient, and patient business than B and H. I learned a lot, from their website, from chats, from google searches, from user manuals, and from being able to try the cameras in my home. I never could have done it by going to a local camera store.

the said screen protector looks good and does not seem to be tampered and is exactly what I needed for my Fujifilm FinePix X10 screen --- I actually have one(1) installed --- it is still good but; I needed a backup just in case --- who knows ?

I use UV filters to protect all of my lenses. This 58mm by Tiffen is on my Fujifilm HS10 -- a point-and-shoot, admittedly, but I also use Tiffen UV filters on my Sony lenses and on my Canon lenses. They are very affordable and they are unsurpassed at protecting lenses. I am unaware of any faults that they may have.
