Fujifilm Waterproof Camera Xp 100

This case is THE BEST camera case available. It is 100% waterproof and indestructible. I would not use anything other than a PELICAN CASE.

I bought this case to hold my new Fujifilm waterproof Finepix XP130 in my lifejacket pocket for a 7 day in the bush canoe trip in the Lake Kipawa region in Quebec Province. I liked the design because it seemed to offer the most physical protection with minimal material that would stay wet if it got soaked in the rain or a dumping. I used the caribiner clip to have the camera on me in camp when I wasn't wearing my lifejacket. I'd replace the plastic one with one that is easier to unhook from my belt loop. The draw-string worked well to keep the camera secure when needed. I stored an extra SD card in the bottom in a small Ziploc type bag. I liked the case for this type of trip.

This ink in the Epson XP-420 makes amazing color prints. It's amazing for an under-$100 printer.

The Fujifilm XF 2x TC WR Teleconverter works great with the FUJIFILM XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR Lens. Amazing addition.

The GFX 100s shows that Fujifilm has taken the lead in digital medium format camera design: large sensor, IBIS, phase detect focusing, quality build, small size, reasonable price. This camera is well matched to the Fujifilm lens, which make great use of the resolution offered by this large sensor. My first of their cameras was the 50s, after which I graduated to the FGX 100. Now I have the 100s, which likely is my end point camera, offering the advantage over the 100 of smaller size (and better IBIS). The lower resolution of the 100s EVF has not been a problem for me; the smaller camera size is amazing, considering what it contains.. The Fuji engineers should get awards for this accomplishment.

I just bought a new camera. I had bought a Fujifilm GFX 100 last year and bought a Pelican iM2720 for it. This Pelican 1607 will be ideal for the newest camera. Lots of protection and much lighter than the iM2720 {although they are very close to the same size.} Plus I love the customizable foam interior!! The sale price B&H had at the time I purchased it made this a no-brainer!!

Having recently upgraded to Fujifilm's beast GFX-100 camera, I quickly realized I needed something more compact and lightweight. The GFX is too heavy and too conspicuous for some uses. The X-T3 was recommended, and it's a perfect solution. I actually like the controls on this camera over the GFX -- very intuitive and easy. It's getting a lot more use than originally planned.

The FUJIFILM RR-100 Remote Release works very well.
