Fujifilm Xt3 Vs Sony A7Ii Camera Decision
iReview | 0000-00-00 00:00:00 |
I made a big decision to sell my Canon 70D and transition to the Sony A7II with the kit lens and I could not be happier that I did! This Sony A7II is absolutely breathtaking with the overall construction, build quality, and user interface. I purchased this camera after reading tons of reviews about the pros of mirrorless full-frame DSLR's, and seeing how this product leads that Market against competitors such as the 6D, which are thousands of dollars more. It feels great in hand and looks even better. Although today I cannot afford to diversify my photographic offerings through another lens, I am confident with the kit lens that came with it and will be sure to save up for another! 5 |

I've been shooting on a 5DMIII for years, and was hoping the XT3 would be the mirrorless camera system that replaced my heavy DSLR. It was a blast to shoot on, I loved the way it felt and operated in hand, and was pretty impressed with the image as well. Ultimately, however, I ended up returning it and will instead get the 5D MIV, just because the Canon ecosystem has much to offer for editorial work and is better suited for fast-paced, professional work. However, if I was looking for a camera for general shooting, street photography, or travel, the Fujifilm XT3 would be my first pick, and in fact I plan to purchase one again in the future for personal use. In summary: The Fujifilm XT3 is such an awesome and fun camera to shoot on, and produces beautiful images, however I don't think it can replace a tried-and-true DSLR like the Canon 5D for everyday professional work. 5 |

I shoot both Sony and Fuji. This is a fantastic camera with a familiar form factor for film photographers. This camera allows you to shoot from the waste with a view of 100% of the tilt down screen. The XT3 was partially covered by the viewfinder when looking straight down. The Dura Black finish changes a bit with the addition of finger prints but It changes in a great way! Once the dura black gets an even coating of fingerprints it takes on a great vintage look. I even used q-tips to get the finish even around the buttons. Don't be fooled by the review where people complained about the finish showing finger prints. The camera looks great in person. The image quality is also really great. It am getting better results with the X-Pro3 than the XT3 or X100F. 5 |

I’m just starting out in photography, and wanted something more than just a point and click. I did a ton of research before deciding to purchase this camera. My choices came down to the XT3/30, or the Sony A6100. I decided to go with Fuji over Sony even though it was more expensive for three reasons. The aesthetics of the camera, the lens system, and the picture profiles. I think this camera looks sooo much better than the Sony Alpha line. When comparing lense systems, it seemed like the Sony lenses were more expensive, and bulkier than the Fuji’s. I liked that the XT30 came with the Fuji’s highly regarded picture profiles. With Sony, I’d have to upgrade to their 6400 model to get their picture profile which, according to the reviews, were a step down from Fuji. Lastly, I chose the XT30 over the XT3 due to the $600 price difference, and the slightly smaller form factor. Now for the cons. The XT30 doesn’t have a flippy screen, limits their recording time, and needs an adapter to add an external microphone. I don’t plan on using this camera to Vlog so these cons are meaningless to me. Even if I were to suddenly become a Vlogger, how hard it is to point a camera toward your face, and realize if your in frame or not? Also, I can’t envision a scenario where I would need to record something longer than 10 minutes. At first, this camera was a little overwhelming to use. However, with each passing day, I becoming more familiar with the controls and functions of this camera. it’s becoming easier, and more importantly, fun to use! I’m very happy I purchased this camera. It won’t be long before I’m producing quality photos that I can hang on my wall! 5 |

Fujifilm XT5 has much greater battery life than the XT3. Very similar to the XT3 in function but high resolution and much bigger files. 5 |

I got this bag just before a trip to Europe. I'm writing this from Frankfurt. It's what I was looking for. Not too big and not too small. Appears to be a messenger bag and doesn't look like "steal me." Right now inside it I've got a Fujifilm XT3 with 16-80 zoom, 18mm 1.4 plus a Fujifilm XE4 in the padded lens holder. Today it rained and then cleared up. I was able to crush my Gore-Tex shell in the bottom and keep the XT3 on top with room for sunglasses. The bag still looked slim. It's also got a nice slot against your body for IPad, documents or maps, etc. Works great so far. Only improvement I could suggest is to have the strap able to disconnect at one end such as on Pacsafe travel bags. This would make it so you could run the strap around a table leg or through a chair arm when at an outdoor restaurant. That way if a thief tries a grab and go they get a big surprise when they take the table or you with them. 5 |

Perfect flash for my Fujifilm XT3 and Godox R2T controller. Never misses a flash or misfires. High-speed syncs and syncs up to the controller every time without issue. Check out my video review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUopcMLhTRI 5 |
