Full Screen Vertical Monitor Leaves Gap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG has just introduced the 28” DuaUP monitor, and it has completely changed the way I look at dual monitors. The ability to have two monitors stacked into one vertical space saves not only desk space but also has boosted my productivity. Now I’m able to have up to 4 separate windows fully running on the same screen, where has this product been all my life. Its vertical nature allows for programs such as Excel and Word to fully fill out the page and maximize viewing. It can also play Fullscreen videos like any other monitor but can have multiple videos on the same screen. It comes with a fully integrated light sensor and setup is a breeze. The package comes with the monitor, stand, many different cables to accommodate all types of setups, and lastly several pieces of literature on how to use the product. Overall, I really recommend this monitor to anyone who works from their computer and wants to get lots of things done at once.

Much better solution for the Rode Procasters I am using it on than a flat screen. This looks better...works better. Leave a small gap when you install the cover over the mic between the top of the mic and where the windscreen would potentially touch. This gap creates another barrier to protect from POPS. Also - I would buy these just to protect the mic over time with water (spit) hitting the mic and causing a potential slow damage to the mic.

It took me awhile to understand how all this works, but this lets me turn a second monitor into a full screen 4K program monitor. I can also enable HDR flags in both Resolve and Premiere.

This monitor could replace the need for two separate monitors but, one more screen won’t hurt! The best thing about this monitor is the ability to work on one screen but with two different computers. This has been a tremendous help since I work remotely, and I am also in school. The large screen is perfect when working on large excel list since the screen can turn into a full screen. It is easy to toggle between the dual screen or full screen. This is an extremely versatile monitor and would recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently, I got the opportunity to test out the LG 29” UltraWide FHD HDR FreeSync Monitor with USB Type C. First off, I didn’t know how much a better monitor experience could give and I got to say this blew my expectations away. It was much bigger than I expected and now it's harder for me to use a smaller screen with this one spanning 29 inches. My current monitor is at 15 inches and yet this one feels like it's three times the size. Even having two screens side by side doesn’t compare. The full setup took less than 10 minutes before having it connected and exploring the features. So far I’ve thrown gaming, window multitasking, videos/movies, and 3D CAD design. Each one performed great and using the full real estate of the screen improved each area. For example, I found myself more immersed in my gaming/video experience than before. Also, I love simplistic/modern design with near edge to edge screen and subtle red accent color on the base. Now if only I can work solely from home on my new and vastly improved setup. I now own two D7500s. Tilting monitor screen and the ability to shoot 4K video in full manual mode is what makes this a great camera.

I've had this monitor for a year. I work full-time as an editor (90% in Premiere). Having 2160 pixels of vertical real estate is very important in my workflow, and it's hard to find in an ultra wide monitor. Replacing my dual 28 4k panels with this one was a bigger upgrade than I thought it would be. So nice to have no bezel in front of me. Colors are accurate enough for editing and preliminary/rough color work. I haven't had any connectivity issues with my computer going to sleep or not recognizing the display. Everything looks sharp, and the variable refresh up to 72Hz enough for what I need.  I'm on a Mac Studio M1 Max, with a mini DisplayPort to full size DisplayPort cable running straight into the panel - not through any thunderbolt hubs or breakout boxes. I have found using Thunderbolt to carry the display signal to be occasionally glitchy over the years, so I have abandoned it to keep things simple and (hopefully) reliable. One caution that others have mentioned: If you are in a VERY bright room, you'll need a brighter screen. My office has lots of windows, white walls, and white cabinets. On a cloudy day, I can work with all the shades open. On a sunny day, I need to lower 1 or 2 of the shades. To me, the brightness is reasonable and the anti glare matte screen is as good as I expect paying this much for a monitor.

This is an amazing monitor, chock full of great features. The screen is super-sharp, which gives us a leg up on camera focus, and the focus assist utility is amazing. Having both SDI and HDMI options gives us much needed flexibility, and the onboard SD card recording capability is a huge win.

Despite the other reviews, I have found this to be an excellent addition to the C300iii. I can see the full screen no problem at all. As far as weight, it's not something I would consider heavy at all. It weighs about as much as it looks in the photos, no surprises. The attachment is rock solid, this thing will not be falling off your monitor. Like all Zacuto products, it's a little bit overbuilt, but in the context of production world, that just means it's not going to break on you out in the field. I had rented the Canon EVF-70, and believe it or not I like this setup better. It's more flexible being able to use either the monitor or the eyepiece depending on your shooting scenario. Overall, I like it.
