I started using this paper when I got into Kallitypes, as it was recommended by several sources. Since then I've used it for that, as well as cyanotype, gum bichromate, platinum, palladium, chrysotype, salt print, vd brown, etc... and it has proven excellent for all of them. This is an especially good choice for the iron-based processes because it doesn't have any alkaline buffering that may react badly with the chemistry. It has a crisp surface that makes a sharp and clera print. The nearest comparison would be Hahnemuehle Platinum Rag, but COT 320 seems to have a slightly softer sizing that doesn't require as much sensitizer as HPR to get a good print. I get more DMax with the COT 320 with less sensitizer than HPR needs. I often had to do two coats with kallitype to get a good print on HPR, where with COT 320 it was good with one. 11x14 is a good size. A full sheet is very comfortable for printing a full 8x10 frame, and a half sheet is great for 5x7. Quarter sheets are good for test prints and 4x5. This is a versatile size to keep in stock.

This is my go to paper for the best print I can make! I prefer a glossy finish and I print in both color and black and white. I have a big history of darkroom printing and this feels like the closes inkjet/pigment will ever get to silver fibre. Canson profiles are more than adequate, but I prefer mine that I made with a color munki. I like the results on my canon pro 1. The epson 9890 I use didn't work great with the profiles, but does just fine with RIP software. I love the way it feels and looks. If you're looking for a something similar, for proofs etc, I've found moab's juniper to be comparable as far as look and texture, but no where near as nice! You get what you pay for. My only gripe is that fragments or threads from the back of the image can be littered on the sheet behind it. Make sure to inspect the surface of every sheet before printing.

I almost always make at least one well-corrected small print on this paper before thinking about what other paper might suit the image better, so aside from its overall excellence this has become a sort of "reference" paper for me. And in most cases, I go on to the finished print with it. I wish it were packaged in a 24 inch x 36 inch sheet size, as the largest sheet size, at 45.7 inches, is a bit inconvenient.

With this paper you can print a template (two per 17" x 22" sheet) for a small box-like pouch to hold several of the 5" x 7" cards you've printed with the pre-scored paper + envelopes made of the same Inkpress paper. You'll need a "scoring board" from an art supply store and a bit of patience, but you'll have a nice gift for your efforts.

This paper yields outstanding colors on both sides which makes it perfect for colorful images and text. You can layout two greeting cards per sheet, then after printing both sides you cut them apart across the 8.5 dimension. It helps to have an image manipulation program, such as Photoshop Elements, to provide layout guides and rotate the sheet for 'upside down' text. First print the side which uses the least ink to keep the sheet as flat as possible for the second pass through the printer. Practice with letter paper to be sure you have everything right side up on the inside and outside of the finished card. Use a paper knife or rotary cutter to separate the two finished cards. Fold each card in half, and they are a perfect fit in Invitation Envelopes 4-3/8 x 5-3/4. You can print addresses directly on the envelopes with your printer to show you care enough to do a thorough job. Again, cut some letter paper to envelope size to make sure you have the addresses positioned properly. To produce one or a few addressed envelopes, sometimes it is easier use Photoshop to define the envelope size and place the addresses, then print envelope(s)from Photoshop. Images of both sides of a finished sheet are included here, and helpful positioning guides are shown.

Ordered 8x12 paper this time. Will be able to print 4x8 Christmas cards 3 on a sheet in stead of 2 on a sheet. Also will be offering 8x12 Calendar pictures and collages.

Love the glossy finger print sheet that helps you lift the paper onto the printer. Stunning prints make for happy people!

I thought the size of the tablet would limit some of the drawings I wanted to make for a full sheet of paper but I found that it was not an issue. I love the feel of it and its sensitivity is very good.

This paper has great reproduction detail without the distracting glare of a full-gloss sheet. I use it for all my art prints that are going to be framed with glass without worrying about the paper finger-printing on the glass.
