Funny Labrador With Backpack Camera

It looks kind of funny on the camera; but, it does exactly what it claims to do. I can get better shots in auditoriums with it than I could ever get without it.

Now that Im a retired senior with seldom more subjects to photograph than my girlfriends black Labrador, Sir Raven, nothing would please me more than a firmware update inclusive of animal eye AF!

I took advantage of Wanda's black Labrador puppy on Saturday while she was out shopping. He's ordinarily hyper, but tends to pout while she's not home. Given my fair eyesight on a good day, I knew I wouldn't come away with many keeper photos having to manually focus them @ F1.2 under dim light. These photos of Raven are among the first I ever took with this lens, and it's been at least 20 years since I've manually focused any lens. Labrador Retriever puppies are notorious for untidying home interiors and keeping them that way. This lens's F1.2 ability came in handy in defocusing the background in the one photo.

I bought this bag for traveling as my Labrador chose to chew on my Version 1 tote. The things that weren’t quite working for me with the 1, were redesigned with the 2. Holds my gear, my documents and other needed travel items. Fits nicely under a plane seat and easier to carry with the included padded strap. Love it. Keeping it out of reach of my Lab.

I've only used it for shots of my Labrador so far but I'm really looking forward to trying some people portraits with it. When you need more than a diffuser and less than a full size softbox, this is a great alternative.

It's really good for taking pictures of wide landscapes and, of course, funny pictures.

Very good to handle the camera, it becomes a little bigger, so it's better to hold it. It looks great, kind of funny
