This thing has helped so much with recent shoots on my FX30. I'll be using it on every shoot I have from here on out. Great for my larger hand size. SmallRig makes excellent products!

I use this lens with my FX30 for video. Haven't used it much with my a6700 yet as I mostly wanted it for video work. I have used the Sony 24mm GM, the full-frame Sony 16-35 f4, and the Tamron 17-70 f2.8 with my FX30 and this lens quickly became my favorite for all-around use. The 16-35 f4 is a terrific video lens that can swap between my FX30 and ZV-E1 but sometimes the f4 is limiting with the product footage that I shoot in lower light. The 24mm GM is fine for talking head and some b-roll with fixed focus (because of focus breathing) or super low light, but it doesn't work for a lot of my product shots. The Tamron 17-70 is a great lens but awkwardly long and doesn't balance well if you need to pop it on a gimbal (especially a compact gimbal). This Sigma 18-50 ended up being the sweet spot between versatility, image quality, and size for my purposes. Minimal focus breathing, plenty sharp, f2.8 for low-ish light, and a great minimum focus distance for doing product footage that requires close-ups. I've also used it for talking head footage outdoors and loved the size and weight for carrying around. I do kind of wish it had a 67mm thread size so I wouldn't need to use step-up rings all the time, but honestly that's my only complaint. Overall, I love it.

Smaller size with 1 inch sensor provides great quality for a P&S.

had a hard time calculating the right size for my sensor. Remember not to swipe more than once for each side.
