G Sync Monitors

The nicest one I found that would work with my Mac G% tower at a great price 5 |

Truthfully bought these as a second choice, as I got a cheaper pair of Creatives to use with my new monitors, but realized afterwards that they wouldn't fit on my desk without being blocked by my monitors. Got these instead since they were shorter and I've used a number of logitech products over the years, and they've rarely let me down. The sound is quite good, though I admit I'm no audiophile so nuances are lost on me. I have noticed when watching a show it movie that when the bass picks up, It. Picks. Up. Probably need to adjust those settings. Lights are controlled with the GHub software, which has been relatively simple to use. Biggest issue was that I forgot each game gets its own profile, which explained why the light sync wasn't working initially. The light sync effects are pretty cool, though I wouldn't buy them specifically for that reason, as I don't find it adds to much to the experience. Overall, nice set of speakers and sub, with a clean look and nice lighting. Oh, and the cables are a good length, they easily reached the sides where I placed each speaker and having the sub on the floor nearby just fine. 5 |

Useful converter box, well made and sturdy. I bought it to flip the image on director's monitors when the camera is mounted upside down on a gimbal, like the Movi M15. I tested the Scaler function, that does the horizontal and vertical flip, and there's no latency. I video-ed two monitors side-by-side, with a sync slate, and both the scaled and directly-patched monitors were in perfect sync. Not everyone will find this box useful, and to be honest, I'm barely taking advantage of the things this box can do, but it does what it says very well. It took a minute to figure out how to get the signal out by going through all the menus. 5 |

I finally broke down and bought this to calibrate my two Dell U2415 monitors, which I was unable to even get in sync, color-wise, with each other, much less showing calibrated color, via eyeball. The software from the manufacturer is total junk. My monitors would calibrate VERY differently every time I would calibrate! I was very careful to do it correctly as per the instructions every time, but both monitors were OBVIOUSLY still out of sync with each other after calibration in the exact same conditions/options, and the average calibration between all the attempts was WAY too warm. I figured oh well, my eyes were miscalibrated if the Spyder X said so... but even still it really bothered me to be looking at what I felt was obviously far too warm whites on my monitors, not to mention the ugly green skin tints when editing photos. I felt horribly dismayed, have I been accidentally ruining thousands of photos because my monitors and eyeballs were THAT far out of whack?? The fix was to get DisplayCAL which nailed the calibration right off the bat. The white LOOKS white to me, and I spend an awful lot of time looking at colors, white balance cards, and using my Passport Colorchecker when shooting photos. The two monitors are now IDENTICAL which gives me a lot of confidence that the colors are now much closer to reality, and looking at a whitecard vs my monitor... yep they are right on the money to me! Maybe my eyes aren't junk after all, lol. The best thing about this calibrator that I feel so much more confident that my colors in my photos are as correct as I can get with these monitors. Peace of mind! Very happy now. 5 |

Replaced two of my 1st gen Tentacles with the latest Sync mkII. Now I have four and can sync them all with the push of one button. Speeds up the process and being able to keep track via bluetooth is a great feature. I've used them on a three camera HBO show and have had zero complaints from post production. 5 |

They work with FX3 and FX30. Now at a cheaper price. We use ours with Tentacle Sync. Re sync every few hours to prevent drift. Drift, has never happened to me - but I always re sync. It might not be a problem for you - but that's your time if you have to hand sync footage. Not mine. 5 |

I'm using this to sync a Ninja V with Sync module to my F6. I wasn't completely sure that would work but it works great, and just lives in the F6 all the time, plug it in and forget it. 5 |

I only bought this monitor for the USB-C DisplayPort AltMode so that I can connect my work laptop to it and share my connected peripherals between my gaming desktop and my laptop. The display is great, I've never used HDR before but I am quite pleased with how everything looks. Wall-mounting was a breeze by adding some spacers between the mounting holes and the bracket. The only complaint I have is the G-Sync compatibility of the monitor. I have a GTX1080 but the monitor's adaptive sync kept causing the screen to go black for a few seconds randomly when playing games that caused the refresh rate to dip too low. It's no longer a problem with adaptive sync disabled but I hope this issue goes away when I pair this display with a RTX4090. However, since it's not a G-Sync Ultimate monitor, I do not really care about the G-Sync compatible feature much. Like other users, I would love to see a hotkey assignment for the USB Port Select as it is tedious to go through the menu each time I want to swap between my desktop and laptop but it's not a big issue for me. Overall, it's a great monitor for a niche group of people and it sure saves a lot of cabling versus using a KVM switch and a USB-C hub. 5 |

If you use cheap flashes without HS-Sync aka 1/200 sync or under you will need this to help create some cool daytime lighting effects. 5 |
