Galvanized File Organizer With Drawer

I didn't use the divider kit in a Pelican case, but rather as an organizer for my camera gear in an existing drawer. The flexibility of the kit really allowed me to get everything exactly as I wanted.

Rather than a need to replace foam in a Pelican case, I've changed one of the file drawers in my desk for storing lenses, flashes and camera body. Once I found the closest match between Pelican case and drawer it was simple to cut each layer to size and place in the drawer. Once this was done the Pick 'N' Pluck system was customized for my gear in about 10 minutes. Way easier than years ago when I would hack out space in a large block of foam!

The previous version of this galvanized mixed reviews, with resolution not particularly outstanding on one end or the other. Nikon certainly has improved this version by adding Nano coating, a fixed F4 aperture, making it one of the new F4 set trinity if you will.The lens is smaller than its 24-70 F2.8g counterpart because it has an F4 aperture, it has longer reach , and it compliments the 16-35 and 70-200 F4Gs well. In the F 2.8G trinitarian, each one pick up where the other stop at, with the 24-120, you have a bit more coverage so changing lens isn't always a necessity.The only thing I am aware of being a minor problem is the distortion at the wide angle side, which is to be expected, but depending on your skill and how you angle the shot, one can make its appearance less obvious.The major seling point of this lens is of course, the nano coating. Can't say enough of how good this coating performs especially under adverse lighting condition. This is not a lens for everyone who wish to own it, it's quite expensive, its versatile, if you are looking for a medium zoom without needing fast shutter speed, this may work well for you. For some this may become their 'go to', and 'stay on the camera' lens.You feel the lens is very solidly built, and it is.

Just like what was advertised, it does exactly what I was looking for in a drawer.....

Very nice Rack Drawer. I had to send the first drawer I recieved back for a minor issue. B&H made it right and they expedited the replacement while I was sending the first back. How a business responds to customer issues is really important. They made me a believer in their business. I will continue to purchase from them because they stand behind their products. The drawer is very nice and the price is affordable for a 3U drawer.
