I am not a gamer, but I am highly dependent on my computer. I have building and upgrading this version now for over 3 years. Originally, I was concerned with multiple displays and required multiple HDMI cards thus I had the 710. I am sure everyone else knows how antiquated such cards are, but they provided up to 8 screens and were only 100 each at the time I bought them. Then came the graphic card shortage and no way I was going to pay those prices. Finally coming back down I decided to upgrade. I needed more ram and greater multi display set up. I have not had a single lag or issue since I installed this card. I took out two 710 and have this single 3060 which is more than enough. It has handled not only my rendering workload, but I have also apportioned the card to assist with mathematical modeling. Zero lags yet. I am sure others might say this card is a bit old but I cannot imagine what more power I could possibly use. Everything else is just overkill, at least for me. Just one thing, make sure you have the drivers downloaded before installation. Is not necessarily plug and play. 5 |
