It simply took ten minutes to complete the setup process and get everything operating. It was easy to use the display with a Playstation 5, which made for a pleasant gaming experience. Smooth images and snappy gameplay are provided by the 1440p resolution and quick 144Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the monitor has AMD FreeSync technology, which reduces screen tearing and stuttering. No modifications were necessary because the settings were perfect as-is. When I decided to upgrade to the Mac Studio I knew that monitor choice was going to be important. I read a lot. I talked to gamers I knew as well as a handful of photographers with Mac Studios. I'm very happy with this LG monitor. I've gotten some advice on settings from gamers and while the aspect ratio took a little getting used to, I'm very pleased with this monitor. The only negative so far is occasionally Apple goes wonky and my screen resolution drops and it's a pain in the neck to reset it to the higher resolution. Weird. It happened today when I synced my iPhone to download photos.
