Games That Are Cpu Intensive

Best bang for the he buck, seriously, if you are gaming why do you need more than 6/12? Modern games are more GPU intensive than CPU, unless you are playing Arma. AM4 is still strong and DDR4 is still just fine, this bad boy even supports PCIE 4!!! Take that intel

This is a great value processor. For the next few years, I cannot imagine needing anything more. This CPU is extremely capable of intensive tasks, like the game Fallout 4. I am highly pleased.

I use my new Mac Pro for audio/music production. It can handle heavy, CPU intensive sessions in both Logic Studio and ProTools 9 with complete ease. I find it quiet, fast and smart, sharing the processing load among all 8 cores very efficiently. I have no cons at this time since I've only had it for about 2 weeks now but can honestly say that my studio setup has had a huge boost in efficiency and power. Highly recommended!

Workstation / Gaming PC build - I have 4 VM running and playing a games at the same time. The cpu doesn’t even feel the workload. Keeping it less than 50% cpu load. Amazing I keep throwing heavy task at this machine and I am not stressing the cpu at all. Build. I was so worried that this wouldn't solve my issue. Every time I opened any intensive game or other task that required a ton of processing power from my RTX 3080 Ti, I would hear a very annoying hum with some screeching in between. Plugged it in, ran all the games where I was having issues in and all that noise is gone. I really think it was worth the money. But to anyone buying this, you have to be sure your issue is a ground loop in your PC. The way I tested it was running one of my intensive games and just disconnecting the USB cable from my Focusrite 2i2 which made the noise go away.

This is a phenomenal computer that is not loaded down with a ton of bloatware. So far it's been able to run Graphics intensive games at 120 frames per second. It's lightning quick on all areas and a steal at this price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been running at high speeds loading my most intensive games for 2 years now and I would recommend it to anyone. I don't time the loading speeds on my games because it's done loading before I think to do it!

Works with casual games, like D3, but anything FPS intensive will cause it to respond sluggishly. I was able to play a few games but Starfield would not even allow it to load up. Also, I was able to play Enshrouded fine, even though I got the warning so it may function ok with moderately loading games so long as there is no soft lock on the hardware requirements. Also - If you plan on seriously playing on this chip, I would recommend overdoing your cooling solution.

Graphics look great - easy setup Used for general computing and graphic intensive games like Crysis. Performs well for everything. Great price to value. The sound from the monitor is ok - not that loud, good enough for general use.

A very good CPU at a good price. May not be a 7 but it's still quite powerful for what it is and can run most games nowadays.
