Easily the best computer I have owned. I just bought this configuration two weeks ago because the speed of my apps has a direct relationship to the profitability of my photography and videography business. My old computer was an iMac, dual core, 8Gb RAM, Intel processor.Here are two examples. When calling up Color Efex from within Lightroom, it often could take 20 seconds to handoff the RAW image for processing. Now it is more like 5 seconds. Rendering an 8-hour After Effects composition can be done in 90 minutes. Calling up an Excel workbook is almost instantaneous. 5 |
