This is my second Impact umbrella form this series. I also have the 41 inch version. They are used primarily as a soft source for video interviews, on Aputure COB lights. While it's typical for folks to use Aputure's Lightdome umbrellas for diffusion, I prefer these for my use. They're cheaper, lighter weight and can be used with any continuous or strobe unit that has an umbrella receptacle ( rather than just a Bowens mount). They take just a wee bit longer to setup, but it's negligible imo. I have ben running a 41 inch with the Angler Umbrella Diffuser cover until now. I added this to get more wrap and a larger coverage area. I'm pleased, it was a great add. I still have some ancient photo umbrellas sitting around, one of my strong dislikes was the flimsy construction. While this umbrella concept will not be as ultimately robust as the Aputure approach, they are a far cry from the umbrellas of yesteryear. These are beefy, with nice reassuring/ thick umbrella struts. 5 |

Mounted a VIOTEK GNV34DBE 34-Inch Curved Gaming Monitor to this VESA 75x75 , on a mobile sit stand desk, bolted through the work surface. Regained my desktop real-estate and I don't have to worry about the monitor falling off the back of the desk when I roll it about. Was looking for a simple, no need for a swinging arm, monitor stand, this works perfect. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Odyssey G55C is a 32-inch curved gaming monitor offering a solid combination of features for its price range. It boasts a QHD (2560x1440) resolution and a high refresh rate of 165Hz, making it well-suited for gaming. The 1000R curvature enhances immersion, which is particularly beneficial for gaming and multimedia consumption. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the 27-inch gaming monitor, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The large screen size provides an immersive gaming experience, and the crystal-clear display with vibrant colors truly enhances every game I play. The fast refresh rate and low response time ensure that there's no lag or ghosting, making my gaming sessions incredibly smooth and enjoyable. The monitor's design is sleek and modern, adding a stylish touch to my gaming setup. Overall, I highly recommend this 27-inch gaming monitor to anyone looking to elevate their gaming experience. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is great. The main things I was looking out for when upgrading to a 32:9 was Color Accuracy for editing photo and video as well as good performance for gaming. 95% DCIP3 color accuracy was plenty for my needs personally and I am using 16 bit 100MP GFX 100 files. A 200hz refresh rate is more than I will ever see in most games that I play. The brightness is 400 cd/m^2 which is more than my second ultrawide and plenty for the environment I use this in. Usage wise, You definitely dont NEED 45in of ultrawide display but in gaming (if the game supports it), it is absolutely gorgeous. Being able to watch a movie while I am editing is also pretty nice as well. The only downside I have really come across is the fact that it has about an inch less screen height wise. My old 21:9 Ultrawide monitor had a screen height of 14.29". So while I obviously gained a vast amount of screen real estate horizontally, I lost about a little over an inch in height. This is negligible in my opinion but it would have been the icing on the cake if it was also the same vertical size. It was really the only flaw I could come up with. Genuinely love the monitor. Overall I think if youre debating on making the switch to 32:9 from 21:9 this is a fantastic intro into it before shelling out a bunch of money for bigger OLED options. 5 |
