Gaming Computer Specs Cpu

I am learning to enjoy my ASUS 15.6 Vivobook. It is a replacement for my nearly 14 year old laptop that has seen better days. I am on a limited budget, but I didn't want mediocre specs that would be outdated in 6 months. I do mainly internet browsing, some productivity work (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.), some low intensity gaming, and on occasion some video editing for my socials. Bottom line - You should probably get one while qtys and pricing are good. Pros - It has the specs I wanted (i9 CPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD) at a great price. More than enough computing power for gaming, casual internet browsing, and the occasional homework/essay. It included FREE 2-Day Shipping - I am on the West Coast. Screen colors are vibrant, keyboard is keyboard-y with backlit keys. The laptop itself is not the lightest out there, but is hardly the boat anchor ROG ASUS I still own that is on its last legs. It's offered thru a reputable dealer. Cons (ish) - Only 1920x1080 resolution and no touchscreen. I haven't really encountered any other negatives so far. It's been a while since I purchased MY own laptop. To be transparent, I have helped recommend and even purchased several laptops over the years for my family and friends. My previous-current laptop is a still-running ASUS G51J (i7 CPU 1st Gen, 6GB RAM, 500GB 2.5 HDD) - battery doesn't charge, but still works plugged in. I purchased it from B&H also circa 2010. Being a frugal tinkerer myself, but wanting the best value for my budget, I researched and compared several buying sources including big box stores, national (U.S.) retail chains and even Amazon, but I still chose B&H. Even though I am on the West Coast, I still found value in the products they offer as well as the service and buying experience. Did I mention FREE 2-Day shipping from the East Coast (NY). Building a gaming computer and bought this. This CPU crushes. I've had no problems running anything I need to run even with multiples processes going.

Great CPU for gaming

this 8 core CPU is just great, whether for gaming or productivity.

Workstation / Gaming PC build - I have 4 VM running and playing a games at the same time. The cpu doesn’t even feel the workload. Keeping it less than 50% cpu load. Amazing I keep throwing heavy task at this machine and I am not stressing the cpu at all. Build. X570 motherboard 64 GB RAM AIO cooler Nvme drive Nvidia 2080 I was one of the lucky ones to get this at the launch. Shout out to the B&H support team. They are the best. Love this CPU. Wish I could of gotten the new AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT to go with my CPU. Either way. I am enjoying this build. Thank you B&H.

I build new computer with this CPU. It is good and fast

Picked it up because of an excellent single core performance, which in my opinion is one of the most important specs of CPU. Afterall, most applications are not great with multi threading, thus, even 24x cores are not as useful if application uses only 1 or 2 of them at any given time.

i decided to buy this one cause in the specs of the manual says that it goes to 2000 wattage handling and with a hungry CPU & VGA you really needs this PS , is very quiet too, i have it on the back of my Lian Li case i recommend this PS to anybody that is a PC enthusiast , it makes the job done and i very stable
