This is a great product. I've converted a few computers from the old HDD drives to SSD drives and I use this dock whenever I need to access the data from the older drives. This is working perfectly. It is described as plug and play, and I can verify that is true. It works right away for me, no need for drivers. I connected it and it was seen immediately by my computer. This dock is also very versatile. It can hold 3.5 hard drives (HDD) as well as 2.5 drives (SSD). I'm thinking of buying some of the 2.5 SSD's to use with this for storage and back-ups, which will save me the expense of buying enclosures. Comes with a USB-B to USB-A 3.2 cable which is a nice addition. Being hot-swappable is convenient. And this might sound silly, but I like that it has a power button so I can leave it connected to my computer but turn it off when not in use. I really like that feature. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched my SSD from an HDD and it made my computer a whole lot faster! It was as if it was a new machine. It was easy to install and switch out. The fact that I deal with multiple file transfers, the WD Blue SN570 NVMe was a game changer. Highly recommend it when your old hard drive is failing, this is the best thing you can do next!

I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it!

This is a highly rated SSD at a very good price. It was delivered very promptly. The drive comes with good cloning software that's easy to use. After moving my data off my HDD, I cloned my OS onto this drive, formatted the HDD, & moved my data back. While I was able to make the included adapter work, it took some doing as the adapter's screw holes didn't all align w/ my computer's hard drive cage. All-in-all, an inexpensive way to give your computer a significant speed boost.

You do pay a bit more for this brand, but it has never failed me. With this new SSD my computer is much faster than the previous 5400rpm HDD.
