Gaming Computers For Destiny 2

Got this to go between an M.2 SSD external case (which only came w/ a USB-C to USB-C cord) and computers that don't have USB-C. Data rate support of full USB 3.1 gen2 was important to avoid limiting the SSDs put in the case and lots of adapters force it down to lower speeds, even USB2.0.

Installed this as the master drive in a new entry level MSI gaming laptop that came with a 256MB M.2 SSD . I'm 60 years old and by no means a gamer. My games are flight simulators. And, being an old geek I prefer to see a hard drive in a box so to speak. The original M.2 drive is still in the laptop as a filing cabinet for my less used junk but I am very happy with the performance of this Crucial drive!

I have a top of the line gaming laptop it had two m.2 ssd's and a one TB mechanical hdd and after having it a while I needed more room. I have never had any issues with the Samsung product line so I bought this SSD and wow my computer runs like new again and with two terabytes of disk space it has room again. This is a very good gaming laptop. Everything worked out of the box. I added a second m.2 drive and the installation was a breeze with the help of a couple of youtube videos. I'd highly recommend this Laptop.

I have installed it on my Asus gaming laptop for game storage as a second M.2 and it is really fast and even without heatsink, it doesn't get hot. I am considering now to buy a second one with 2TB for game storage and makes the 1TB version the primary one for the OS, as it is faster than the pre installed Samsung ssd.

I purchased this as an upgrade for my custom PC build, and let me say this is really fast. I use this for editing as well gaming, and in the proper M.2 NVME port, this thing can sustain full 3,000 mb/s read/write speeds with no problem. Absolutely love it.
