I have another review that I wrote about this mic, but B&H's website doesn't appear to let me update that review. I've now been using this mic almost daily for over a year. The audio is crisp and clear, background noise is kept to a minimum, and people on the other end of the meeting/phone call give compliments on the detail that this mic captures. I used to use a condenser mic, but that also had the annoying feature of picking up a lot of 60Hz hum. This mic doesn't do that and I didn't have to make any adjustments to the room either. For the person who mentioned they couldn't fit it in a shockmount, it has one internally. That is why the mic is the size that it is. For those complaining about the USB port, mine hasn't had any issues. I accidentally bent the micro usb connector on the cheap cable they shipped with it and the mic survived just fine. The cable, on the other hand, was useless after that. I solved this problem by finding a 90 degree USB adapter so that the connector isn't pointing straight out the back of the mic. It now sits mostly flush and swiveling the mic is more likely to cause the adapter to disconnect at the other end. If your laptop, like mine, is usb-c only, don't try to buy long usb-c to usb-c cables. They are crazy expensive. Instead, try to buy a usb-c to mini or micro usb-b cable. They are much cheaper. My setup is usb-c to micro usb (10 feet), then an adapter from micro-usb to usb-c (1 inch), and then finally a short usb-c to 90 degree micro-usb adapter (6 inches). 5 |

I love this mic. My only complaint is that it uses the old style micro usb, which is flimsy. They should have gone with the USB-C instead. 5 |

It's rare seeing a pair of headphones that genuinely shine in almost every regard. But with the WH-1000XM3, Sony has created an indisputable winner, a categorically top-notch set of cans whose only shortcoming is the absence of 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity, something we hardly ever see outside of the gaming market. They do have Bluetooth, though, so as long as you have a smart TV, an Nvidia Shield, a gaming laptop, or a Bluetooth-capable motherboard, you should be set for the reclusive world of active noise canceling. Unlike other noise-canceling headphones, the WH-1000XM3 use an unusually silent QN1 HD noise-canceling processor. In our testing, we found it was able to keep out most sounds, even on the crowded New York City subway. The battery does take a hit for this, but you can take solace in the fact that the WH-1000XM3 last 30 hours fully charged. After 10 minutes of being plugged in via USB-C, Sony claims they can deliver pristine high fidelity sound over five hours. And, to top it all off, volume and playback commands are touch-based. Goodbye forever, inline controls. Image 1 of 6 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Micro USB ChargeSync Cable is super fast! It has decreased the time it takes to charge my devices by half the time. It’s longer than most micro USB cables I have, so it makes using my devices, while the cable is in use, a lot easier and convenient. I also use this Micro USB ChargeSync Cable to sync my gaming headphones to my computer where I’m able to adjust my audio settings. Transferring my audio settings from my computer to my headphones is super quick. The Micro USB ChargeSync Cable is very durable and that makes it perfect for anyone on the go. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a convenient, fast, and durable, Micro USB ChargeSync Cable. 5 |

I started with the Micro, but soon desired some of the features found in this shotgun mic. I felt this version was a good balance between the micro and the more expensive NTG/Pro versions. I love the improved shockmount, a single mount is annoying since the mic bounces a lot with one mount. I also dig how versatile this mic is. I can use it on my cams or plug it into my computer for voiceovers. The pickup is much improved over the Micro, sound is more full, and overall I wish I had just started with this mic instead. It handles close and somewhat far audio pickup well, fulfilling pretty much all of my nearfield audio needs. I mostly use the 3.5mm input, but the USB output offers more granular control via RodeCentral. I like that's powered by USB/3.5mm, battery based mic's run the risk of running out at inopportune times. The only con is that I wish they'd provided the nicer coiled 3.5mm cable found in the Micro, but the supplied cable is fine. 5 |

These are some really good headphones. I use these primarily for PC gaming with voice chat. Audio in the headphones is very clear and has a good balance of bass & treble. Good mic as well; my buddy who I game with can hear me clearly. The cushions are also pretty comfortable. I’ve gamed several hours at a time while wearing glasses with minimal to no discomfort. The HyperX PC app is very intuitive. It helps control settings like mic monitoring (which I usually turn on) and equalizer and shows an accurate battery percentage. Battery life is crazy long. I been using these approx. a month off the initial charge, gaming around 20-30 hours a week and I still have about 60% charge. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a condenser mic that use for gaming, I was always skeptical about usb mic, usually because of drivers and sound quality. This mic has been just perfect, out of the box it’s plug and play, plus, you get extra features with the software. My gaming friends could tell the difference, my voice sounds clearer and like pro quite. This mic it’s a must have! Period! 5 |
