I have used this headset for gaming on pc for about a week now. I love it! I have been gaming for over 10 years now and this is the first headset that I have found that is most certainly worth the money I have spent for it. Highly recommended! The RBG lighting on the ears are very very customizable, I think I have spent at least an hour looking at everything I could do and I could probably do more. The noise cancellation on the headphones are INSANE! I’ve never had anything compared to this! I heard about this product from 100 Thieves and instantly wanted to order for myself because I know 100 Thieves is a wonderful organization. The only con I have for this is the length of the USB cord is longer than necessary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, a tremendous feature-to-value ratio that delivers a stand-out experience for those with the right setup. Our most used games include Rainbow Six Siege, Call of Duty Modern Warfare Warzone, Fortnight, Roblox and Rust. OUT OF THE BOX: Many cords (to accommodate various setups), but also exceptionally clear setup instructions. Piece of cake for tweens and adults alike. SOUND QUALITY: Excellent high and low balance, all with perfect clarity. Immediately noticeable and particularly awesome is the sonic spatial directional audio. This heightens the overall gaming experience and ability to compete. COMFORT and AESTHETICS : VERY comfortable … top band and cups all well-padded. The unit is lightweight, yet sturdy and high-quality with great looking lighting features on both cups. The headset looks slick and wears great for hours at a time! A hiccup for our Xbox OneS and Apple iMac house … The JBL QuantumENGINE drives important headset functionality, but only works on PC. As clearly outlined within the ‘compare’ and ‘connectivity overview’ sections of the JBL website - this headset is packed with powerful features and is purposefully designed to interface with hardware and software used by high performance gamers. For over 25 years, JBL has never let me down … this headset is no different. The Quantum series offers something for everyone, and I look forward to benefiting from all of the QuantumOne features when I upgrade our gaming system to PC.

These are some really good headphones. I use these primarily for PC gaming with voice chat. Audio in the headphones is very clear and has a good balance of bass & treble. Good mic as well; my buddy who I game with can hear me clearly. The cushions are also pretty comfortable. I’ve gamed several hours at a time while wearing glasses with minimal to no discomfort. The HyperX PC app is very intuitive. It helps control settings like mic monitoring (which I usually turn on) and equalizer and shows an accurate battery percentage. Battery life is crazy long. I been using these approx. a month off the initial charge, gaming around 20-30 hours a week and I still have about 60% charge.

I really like this headset, the fidelity is such that it is great both for phone conversations, as well as music playback.  Works both with my Polycom phones, connected direct to a softphone on my laptop, or disconnected and direct to my iPhone.  I find myself using this headset more than my earbuds, for playing music from my iPhone. Purchased this wired set, as I try to limit RF exposure.  My clients generally prefer the Plantronics Voyager Focus UC Headset B825, which is a reliable Bluetooth headset, but the sound quality is best for voice calls. I do recommend installing the Polycom computer application in order to adjust settings and provision firmware updates.

I bought it as my first audio interface. I wanted to use it for headphone playback of music in day-to-day use, while also helping me input my voice for on-line business meetings in the work-from-home situation. With my SONY MDR-1AM2 headphone connected to the headphone jack, the sound playback with MOTU M4 sounds as good as TOPPING DX7 Pro DAC and headphone amp I use in my livingroom. The sound level indicator adds a visual accent to my desktop environment. I've also hooked up a cheap Chinese headworn microphone that requires line-level phantom power with the help of additional RODE VXLR+ to convert 48V on MOTU M4's XLR port to 5V. I've never recorded my voice sounding better, and it's easy to use for a novice like me. The input/monitor mix control on M4 is a very nice touch too.

Doing voice work from the home studio, I occasionally encounter clients who'd like to participate in the direction of a session, or at least hear playback on-the-fly. There are ways to accomplish this, but the end results always sound less-than-great, plus it's just plain awkward juggling headphones & other equipment trying to make it work. Bottom line, an actual phone interface is necessary. The issue I kept finding on all the models I'd checked out was that they required a land line, something I'd given up in favour of a cellphone nearly twenty years ago. The Daptor 2 is the perfect solution for my situation -- it's just a box; simply plug the appropriate line-in/line-out cables into the console, adjust the mix/minus settings on the board, attach the cell, and voila! Clients can now participate in the session & hear playback with ease, and I don't have to consider having a land line installed, so it's a win-win for everybody.
