Have a workstation & gaming pc. Needed something like this to switch between them with my keyboard & mouse, works perfectly. Even have extra ports if needed.

I had to call IOgear's C.S. to set up my gaming keyboard and mouse. The first guy didn't know what I was talking about. Called back and this guy stepped me through the process and waited for me to make sure all was OK.

I really like the keyboard and the mouse

This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We bought this for our sons gaming setup. He loves how it keeps everything organized and clean looking. I like that he doesnt have to plug cables in and out of his mouse and headset. Only thing is that I wish it would charge the mouse near the centre of the pad. We have to put the mouse almost right up against the vertical stand.

Really like the ease of setup for this Logitech keyboard/mouse combination. The keyboard does not have a power switch. The mouse does have an on/off switch. The only thing that bothers me is when using with a laptop, the keyboard is wider than the actual laptop.

The HyperDrive VIPER 10-in-2 has worked flawlessly. I have two monitor setup with keyboard and mouse attached. The competitor port I was using lost keyboard and mouse functionality and I had to boot or disconnect and reconnect port to get my mouse and keyboard back. In the time I have been using the HyperDrive I have not had one single incidence.

Very sturdy setup for the studio. It's plenty large for the iMac, keyboard, and mouse. iMac is very secure with the bar. Pair it with a rolling stand that can take the weight and you've got yourself a great tethering setup in studio. We use it with the Tether Tools low boy rolling stand. Works fantastic. You'll also need the Kupo ball head adapter. Of all the various options and designs out there for attaching an iMac to a stand, this one is my favorite, since it also gives space for the keyboard and mouse. It's also one of the more cost effective options. Very happy with it.
