Gaming Keyboards Chiclet Keys

Upgraded from the old 2013 Apple Wireless Keyboard to this one and I like the scissor switch keys on this one way more than the chiclet style keys on my old keyboard. There is a nice feel to it and the Space Gray color fits the trackpad. With the numeric keypad, the trackpad is a little more off to the right than before, but I'll get used to it. 5 |

We're running control room software from Strasis Systems which directly supports all X-Keys keyboards. This keyboard provides our operators the ability to control what they see which greatly simplifies system interaction. We printed custom overlays for each key making it very simple to find a function quickly... the back lighting works great in low light conditions and is programmable (blue, red, magenta shades only). Overall a industrial grade product... we are very happy and have purchased additional X-Keys keyboards. 5 |

Love this silver on silver keyboard. I am sensitive to plastics in keyboards and this one seems to have little or less plastic in the keys 5 |

Nice keyboard. It is heavy unlike other plastic keyboards. The keys are very responsive. I like that the shortcut keys on the function keys is active instead of having to do a series of actions to use these functions. I would recommend this to anyone. Nice light functions also. 5 |

I was looking for a sleek, yet simple illuminated keyboard and this is exactly what I got. Other illuminated keyboards tried too hard to look cool and ended up looking like something out of a B sci-fi movie from the 70s. I didn't install the drivers for it as Logitech is notorious for bloated drivers (the drivers were 85 megs). Instead I installed a free program called AutoHotKey and was able to use that to program the media keys. Even without drivers most of the media keys actually work, but you can't reprogram them. It feels great to type on and looks wonderful on my desk. 5 |

I like the feel of the keyboard. The shape of the keys is helpful to my fingers which are all over the place on other keyboards. This helps my input speeds and the accuracy of my keyboarding. The sound is also reinforcing, clickety, click. 5 |

Keyboard is a pleasure to use with it's illuminated keys. The feel of the keys is a big step up from convincial keyboards. THANKS Logitech for a great keyboard! 5 |

The keys feel good and the lack of boarder around the edges makes it way easier to clean than most keyboards 5 |

This keyboard works very well, keys are soft touch and fairly quiet. I have had many keyboards and this one ranks right up at the top. Lights up with three different light settings High/Med/Low/off. 5 |

CM Quickfire Rapid is the ten keyless mechanical keyboard I could find that worked with Mac out of the box. All multimedia keys work with Mac. A lot of mechanical keyboards I researched had some sort of issue with Mac or required some software to be installed. The CM Quickfire rapid works right out of the box. The most you would have to do is update your modifier keys in OSX and switch your key caps for option/command. I own two of these keyboards now, one with blue and one with brown cherry mx keys. I used the blue version for over a year and wanted to get a quieter version for use at work. I tried adding o-rings to the blue keyboard and it greatly reduced the sound by preventing the keys from bottoming out. The main problem I had with this solution was that the click of the blue key switches is still very audible and the o-rings decreased the travel of the keys. Making it feel too short in my opinion. The brown key switch version is much quieter since there's no audible click. To prevent bottoming out, I removed the o-rings I put in the blue version and put them in the brown. Making the brown even quieter than it already was. Perfect for an office environment shared with other coworkers. The brown key switches are nice if you like the the blue keys, but need to do without the audible click. The brown keys have a noticeable bump when you press down on them. Cons: Lack of backlit keys. I don't have a need for the backlit keys, but would be a nice to have. All of the other ten keyless with backlit keys were about double the price of this one. No USB hub. While not needed, would be nice if it also had a USB hub like some of the other mechanical keyboards I researched. 5 |
