Gaming Monitor For Next Gen Consoles

Bought this TV for my gaming setup and i'm not disapointed. Can't wait to use it with next gen consoles later this year.

This is my first portable monitor. Before purchase the main concern was whether there would be any audio or visual lag, and I am pleased to report that there is none that I can perceive (I'm an older gamer in my 40s). Both Nintendo and Sega mini consoles work well with the screen and the sound coming out of the headphone jack goes straight to my speakers without any delay. Nintendo Switch works fine and while I haven't had a chance to test PS3/4/5 yet, I'd imagine they should work fine as well. Colors seem natural and vivid, especially when placed next to a cheaper laptop with weaker colors. Red looks red rather than orange. When it came to portable monitors and gaming consoles, it was difficult trying to find a definitive answer on the internet as to which have lag and which don't. Compared to more expensive gaming portable monitors, this monitor at $200 was a smaller risk to take and I am glad that the risk paid off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 32" LG UltraGear UHD Gaming Monitor is capable of delivering 144Hz at a resolution of 3840x2160. The monitor supports a generous assortment of connectivity with one DisplayPort, two HDMI, a convenient USB 3.0 Upstream connection to the PC and also 2 USB 3.0 (type USB-A) downstream connections, as well as a 4-pole (sound and mic) headphone jack. All of this is to say that for the typical gamer there, this monitor delivers a fantastic experience while also allowing for multiple gaming consoles/PC to be connected without having the need to connect and disconnect consoles as frequently. Personally, I have an XBOX, Playstation, and gaming PC connected to the monitor and I can easily transition between each. HDR is easily recognized with all connected devices, and the monitor also delivers a beautiful and crisp picture. The colors are vibrant and not faded or an off-color, which means that whites are white and not a weird off-white. There are also settings available that are built into the monitor to adjust the picture and also access extra features that can add extra to the gaming experience.

I purchased the extra controller with the console bundle. In my experience with previous gen consoles even if you don't play multiplayer on your console the controller that comes with the console will wear out well before the console does and it is good to have an extra controller in reserve.

This one is a must have for your clapper sticks. i have The Cavision Next-Gen clapper and it fits perfectly on this case. I love The smooth finish, but it could be better if they added handles a handle.

I use this switch for my entertainment center. With everything being connected now from TV, to streaming boxes, to gaming consoles, I needed a lot more ethernet than planned. Luckily this switch is powered easily through my basement PoE switch, and works fantastic to keep the wires to a minimum. Joined my ubiquiti environment no issues, and has been working flawlessly since. For the price this can't be beat.
