I am in the garage door business and when I install new garage door openers I add a surge protector so the circuit board is not damaged from lightning or a power surge. These Belkin one outlet Surge-cubes are just the right thing for my work. They are self mounting with the plug, they are small, and they don't cover the other outlet. 5 |

I bought this unit to replace a failed 40VA transformer that was powering a Rain-bird controller in my garage. The original unit was plugged into an outlet in the ceiling. Even with the new units support screw inserted, I was concerned about the additional weight of the 50VA unit. So I mounted an outlet on the frame holding the garage door opener for about $10 and now have a nice permanent installation. 5 |

I needed and extender to connect my Ubiquiti Disc to extend the Wifi to my garage. My Tesla now gets its updates without issue. The garage is one floor up and 3-4 walls away. I'm impressed with this device. It was easy to install. I'm a novice but was able to download the Ubiqiti app and see it connect to the network. You must have access to your UnifiNetwork for it to work. Thanks to B&H customer service i got the right tool for the job. 5 |

Our house was not wired with Ethernet cables and I could not get a wifi signal (I purchased a much needed upgraded router and tried a top of the line extender without any luck) into our garage for a sprinkler control panel. I finally came across reviews for the Netgear Powerline 2000+ and figured I would try them out. I plugged the adapter into our power outlet next to the router and plugged the other one on the other side of the house. I pay for 100 mb and average about 98.3 to 98.5 next to the router. Testing the Netgear Powerline 2000+ I get around 97 to 97.3 from it. Since the speed was so good, I put the adapter in a bedroom next to our garage and turned my old router into an AP and now have 70% signal strength in the garage and backyard. Great product for the price, as I saved $60 over the "high end" extender 5 |
