This watch has some many useful function including calling for help if you fall, heart rate monitor and other health app. I feel like Dick Tracy when I speak into my watch using the intercom or answering a phone call.

This is the third Apple watch I've owned. It seems that this watch works a little faster than the others. I use it as much for health issues. The Heart Rate monitor picks up the same as my belt. This is an improvement over the past watches. The Blood O2 is good, particularly now with Covid as lung function is an indication of the virus. All in all it's a worthwhile purchase.

This watch is absolutely perfect for my husband and I. We aren't sports fanatics but need to keep track of heart rate. We walk, ride bicycle, and treadmill. This watch tracks it all. Best of all, we only have to charge once every 3-4 weeks. Just wish I could get another one in the white rock color.

For many using a cell device is adquate. I prefer a dedicated, self-contained GPS for driving and the new Garmin flawlessly does that. I guard what privacy there still is and Garmin allows operation with and without a cell connection. Good enough! Unlike my former GPS with lifetime maps (yeah, right) this accepts voice commands and they work surprisingly well. With the pre-loaded points of interest, naming a place works as well as punching in or calling out an address. Information is logically and clearly presented on a large screen and turn-by-turn instructions are timely and useful. I'm pleased.

I'm a fan of Garmin Zumo. I still have 660, 590, Nav V, Nav VI at home and now try the XT. It's a big leap in terms of feature. However, since the XT is installed on my BMW GS, I miss the zoom in/out capability from the left handlebar wheel. I frequently used this feature to go back and forth between positional awareness in north oriented map (zoom out) and turn by turn navigation (zoom in). It will be great if Garmin can create a handlebar mount toggle for this zoom in/out function using bluetooth connection perhaps. As I know, XT doesn't have many connection pins, except only 2 pins for power supply.

This is my new “must carry” device! Hang on to the end of this review, I have a suggestion for Garmin. This thing works perfectly - I love the way check in messages are supplied with a map of your current loc - brilliant! Battery life is excellent as is signal acquisition. I own an iPhone 14 with satellite SOS but wanted the InReach as a “rugged” backip and to send “non-emergency” texts which the iPhone can’t in satellite mode. In fact I like it so much I told an older friend who has had heart trouble about it. He lives on a farm without cell service and the InTeach can get him help in an emergency he otherwise had no access to! SO! Here is my suggestion for Garmin (and 1st time users). I read all of the reviews and most if not all of the low ratings (undeserved) had to do with problems initializing the device. To avoid problems START, STEP 1.0 is GO TO EXPLORE.GARMIN.COM and SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT FIRST!!! You only need to turn the device on to obtain the IMEI and device codes for registration - do EVERYTHING ELSE on your smartphone or PC. After you set up your account, (should take less than 5 minutes) turn on the InReach, walk outside and wait for it to activate. Again should take just a few minutes! It is my opinion that if Garmin emphasized this sequence (rather than simply stating “you need an active account to use the device”) there would be less confusion and more user satisfaction. Thank you Garmin for an amazingly compact layer of security!!
