Garmin Maps On Android Phone

This is my 3rd Garmin Dashcam with Maps. This one is by far the best of all of them. The available apps as well as function makes it so easy to use and operate

Having been through a much older Garmin, the TomTom with lifetime maps that walked away from customers, I went back to Garmin. Using the DriveSmart 66 for several months I can say it's the best, easiest to use navi ever. Voice commands work very well because so much information is integrated into the system. And I can stay off the cell network and keep some sense of autonomy while using a fully-functioning system. Darn near perfect. I'd like a more thorough user guide and maybe easier menus but for plug n'play, I think this system is outstanding.

Even though I have navigation maps in my car, the Garmins I've had have always been far more accurate. This new Garmin DriveCam 76 is the best yet. The Dash Cam is really neat, along with features such as the collision avoidance when I get too close to the car in front of me, and it is speed dependent. There is also an alert for cars approaching on the sides. All the usual features traffic awareness, parking suggestions on your arrival make this the best Garmin navigation tool I have had.

I had my old Garmin GPS for over 7 years, so when it would no longer take a charge or download new maps, I looked for a newer model. Really like the 53 with one (minor) complaint - I loved the old one with English accent but could not find it on the 53 - so sad. 53 picks up the satellite really fast and instantly knows where I am located.

Works good with Google "my maps" to import into Basecamp as a track and convert to a route. . Warning, the XP2 when connected to Basecamp, gives a warning that it might not be combatable with Basecamp. It does still work. If Garmin drops Basecamp, I will sell all my Garmin GPS's. My primary use is to draw a route on "my maps" and import it into Basecamp so I can load into the GPS.

I bought this to use on a garmin gps to update my maps. Works great plus good sturdy construction.

I have owned a Garmin Nuvi for over 10 years. I realized that I needed to replace my old unit because I couldn’t upgrade the maps anymore because of limited memory and the battery was almost dead. The new unit is similar to operate but I need more time to learn the newer features. Updating the maps was easy enough but a computer and WiFi are necessary.

It's a Garmin. Not much more needs to be said. The Explorer app works great for transferring Google Maps routes to the unit. I created a really complex twisty route and it followed it seamlessly.
