Bought the SVG2482R Modem/Gateway to use for Comcast service; Phone and Internet. The online set-up with Comcast takes time, as the Modem took time(15 minutes) to activate and reboot and with the Comcast service in MN, but overall an easy process. Once connected, the performance is great ( 200 Mbps) for the Blast service. The only negative is that the modem is larger, than any previous modem/router I have had. So, had to get creative to hide it, but not affect the wireless in the house. 5 |

I have purchased many macs over the years, and never forgo AppleCare. If just one thing goes wrong with the computer, it pays for itself. The customer service is excellent, and if they cannot fix the problem, they replace the computer. It's a no-brainer in my estimation. 5 |
