Gateway Computer Monitor To Factory Default Settings
Eddie2010 | 2024-04-12 01:27:46 |
It took me a few adjustments to the default settings to begin to appreciate the great quality picture I get with my new ASUS monitor. It can go as high as 75 hz, but I run it around 60hz. The 27in. screen is a lot more than I was used to. Overall a very good monitor. 5 |

Love this monitor but the only negative is I cannot change the contrast because of the factory HDR settings. The windows task bar is a little gray vs black for my liking. Have not found a way to adjust it. The setting is disabled. 5 |

...once I figured it out. It needed to be reset to factory settings, but once done, all works as---or better than---expected. THANKS 5 |

Booted perfectly first time with bios default settings. Loaded up Intel XMP profile and rebooted and it was running at rated speeds and timings with zero issues. Caught this on sale and the performance and value is amazing. Absolutely no cons, and worthy of all 5 stars! 5 |

Using this subwoofer with a pair of Yamaha HS8s sounds great and the default settings needed no adjustment. 5 |

Coupled with a Noctua NH-D15 air cooler and everything at stock/default settings, I encode hour long videos using. The CPU was at usage 96% capacity, temp at 65C with the CPU fan at 575 rpm and all cores running at or above 4.2GHz. Haven't tried overclocking yet, but looks like plenty of room. Certainly is great performance straight out of the box 5 |

this is the first motherboard that I have ever bought to build my first pc. I gutted my Alienware r13 and this mobo is better in every way. the r13 overclocked was slower than this mobo using default settings. it would score about 25500k in r23 default and overclocked it did 26200k. with the z690e gaming Wi-Fi default settings scored 27400k and overclocked with AI it did 27900. with a few tweaks it did 28500k. I'm sure I could get it to do more but I use it for gaming. also the default ram setting was 4400mhz in the r13 and in the ASUS mobo default it ran 4800mhz and overclocked the ram to 6000mhz even though there wasn't an xmp profile. it wasn't stable but with adding a little voltage it is. the build list is Helios case12900kf z690e gaming Wi-Fi 64gb ddr5 Hynix 2t ssd crucial p5 6900xt on water custom water loop 2x360mm rads xd5 pump psu RM850x. I'm never buying dell again. 5 |

As long as you don't mind default settings, they look fine in my opinion, just plug it in and you are done. I love the UHD and screen size, I can enlarge things enough I no longer need reading glasses. 5 |

This is my second C920s webcam. It has great features and a beautiful image. It's basically plug & play right out of the box, with one major exception. I immediately realized that the image is reversed upon plugging the webcam in. Why the default image is reversed kind of blows my mind. There were no directions on how to reverse the image. I went on the Logitech website and searched for a solution. Nada. I searched Google, too. All the solutions were complicated and convoluted. I ended up downloading 2 or 3 programs that didn't solve my problem. Since this is my second C920s, I went back to my first installation of this webcam on my other PC. The image was right on. So, I checked and I have a program called Logitech Capture. I checked its settings, and sure enough, under the Source 1 settings there's an Advanced Settings slider. Sliding that to On opens up another set of settings. One of them is horizontally flip source. Checking that check box flips the image to the proper point of view. Why Logitech would reverse the default image is beyond me. And, why they don't provide instructions on how to flip the image is crazy. Anyway, just downloading this simple (free) program from the Logitech website solves the issue. All is well. I'm very happy with the webcam now. 5 |
