Gateway Computer Stuck In Hibernation Mode

I bought this five years ago for use with my BMPCC4K and I love it. I wish it had a bit more capacity (since it seems a decent amount of the space inside the case is empty) but it's still good enough. I can get through a whole day of shooting (with intermittent charging during breaks) with just one battery. Note I only use the D-tap cable to power it and NOT the dummy battery since I don't like dummy batteries and find them not reliable. Just recently, after several years of use, I found the original cable started to disconnect power on me (I suspect the connection around where the metal lipo connector bends is frayed internally) and I'm going to order a new one. However this is as-expected, given several years of medium use, and I don't see it as unreasonable. PSA - if you hold the screen on button for roughly 10 seconds the battery will go into hibernation mode and, I understand, extend the life of the battery. I noticed that the battery loses its charge fairly quickly (a couple days) and will spend a long time sitting at 0%, which I understand is not great for the battery. Alternatively, if you get it to a charge percentage you like (50% - 80% or whatever) and hold the screen on button until it turns off, it will go into hibernation mode and drain battery at something like 1% a week (not exact, but that's what it feels like). To get out of hibernation mode you just hit the button again and or charge it for a second and you're back on regular mode.

Works as advertised. Hardest part of setup was putting my Xfinity gateway in bridge mode, and that wasn't hard. Eliminated dead spots inside and on the back patio.

Love this adapter. I have a lens that is permanently stuck in auto aperture mode and I was worried I wouldn't be able to use it with this. Luckily, there is a lip around the flange that depresses the aperture pin so I can use it just the same.

I am still stuck in automatic mode, but this is a nice step up and will allow me to venture out into other modes. The clarity of the images are amazing! The super zoom is awesome! The extra battery and other items in the deluxe kit are great to have on hand!

Nice and bright without the hassle of a million different settings. I'd prefer it if it didn't even have a high and a low mode, and just stuck to the high, but I'll live. Nice and sturdy, mine has held up to numerous drops and impacts.

(I received this product free for trial purposes courtesy of Influenster.) I've had the camera and 2 door sensors for about a month now and I cannot begin to tell you how amazing this system is! The camera pans and zooms beautifully, has a security AND baby monitor mode. (Which is amazing as I have a 16m old boy who gets his legs stuck in his crib bars. As a mom it's awesome to peek in and see if he's stuck or just making noise, lol!) It has voice commands and allows you to speak to the person you're viewing. The camera quality is VERY good as well! And night mode is AMAZING! I can see my baby VERY clearly on it in the middle of the night. It can also be mounted various ways AND set atop a table or countertop/be left mobile! The app is easy to use and sync as well! Very easy for us less tech savvy folk LOL I use it CONSTANTLY in junction with the door sensors! It gives you SUCH a piece of mind! And for the price you can't beat it!!! 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend!

I resurrected my D90 after years of hibernation. The original Nikon battery was deader than Elvis- despite the charger indicating "Full". I spent a lot of time investigating replacement batteries as opposed to spending megabucks on an authentic Nikon battery. With the wide divergence of online reviews, I was scratching my giblets struggling to decide what to do. My B&H decision was the right one. Battery performs every bit as well as the original used to. It is a far, FAR better value. No kidding.

I was directed to Bitdefender by a computer repairman a few years back and have stuck with it for the last three years. Affordable, effective, and a light CPU load.
