I ordered this monitor on Saturday evening, Dec. 2, and received it in Bethesda, MD, early the following Monday morning. Well done, as usual, B&H Photo! I unpacked it and set it up, only to find that the proprietary BenQ Palette Master Ultimate software wouldn't recognize either the monitor or my colorimeter. You need the BenQ software to perform a hardware calibration. Other calibration software, even Calman's at $2000, will only perform a software calibration. I called BenQ tech support and was delighted to discover it's U.S.-based. I was not so delighted to have them tell me, however, that the problem with the software had arisen a few weeks ago, and they did not yet have a solution. The BenQ engineers thought a recent Windows update might have made changes that caused the problem. After a few calls, the BenQ tech support staff eventually escalated me to a BenQ technical support manager. She could not have been more diligent in working with me, and after a few days, she provided new drivers for my computer's USB serial computer. Miracle of miracles, that worked! But beware! It only worked when I attached the colorimeter to the side of the monitor via a USB-A port there and to the monitor to the computer via the BenQ-supplied USB-A to USB-B cable.  Palette Master Ultimate would not recognize the colorimeter if I used its native USB-C connection when connected to either the monitor or the computer. There were times early on when I thought I would have to pack up the monitor and send it back to B&H Photo, no small task because the monitor comes in an extraordinarily large box and its packaging is like a Rubik's cube. BenQ's tech support, however, did itself proud! The image quality of the monitor is outstanding, and with the software now working, I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I was able to print the rocktopus after calling tech support, as this is my first printer. One disappointing point was that you DO need a computer, just not all the time. The computer is needed for startup, and later for upgrading the machine and several manual controls. Its nice you can print using the SDRAM card, since Windows will reboot at some time during the day if it needs to, even if you are half way through a print. I also need to get a UPS to protect the machine during a print. Very good tech support, but I wish they had let a noob use the guide to clarify steps the builders know so well they dont write it down. Still, it is working, its very quiet and I made a model! Check out Autodesks Meshmixer, a free program for 3D printers that helped me a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a number of computers, from laptops to desktops, old and new, mostly on the Windows 10 platform. I needed a powered USB port hub to 1) increase the number of ports available and 2) to be able to support the power requirements of the peripherals and accessories that I attached to the computer. For example, I have a tablet that I use that is attached to my computer via USB, however, while I am using the tablet it loses its charge and the computer not able to provide enough power to re-charge it. Another example is to provide enough power to external harddrives. I do a lot of programming and technical work on my computers that I have different accessories attched to them - mouse, keyboards, external microphone, web and DSLR camera, smart phones/tablets, CD/DVD reader/burner, bluetooth and WiFi dongles, flash drives, etc. I have other USB port hubs that do not have the external power and it cannot support all the accessories I attached to them.

Everything worked great out of the box as soon as I signed into my iCloud account. I used the migration assistant to move my applications from my old computer to the new MacBook Pro. At that point Safari stopped working. I went online using my old computer and found Apple support. The site said to put in my telephone number and the product serial number and someone would call me back within two minutes. In less then the two minutes I received the callback and the woman at Apple stayed on the phone with me for a long time until she found that my old computer had a later version of Big Sur than my new computer. Once she had me download the latest update to the OS, Safari, as well as everything else worked perfectly. The excellent Apple support was great. The new machine works so much faster than my six year old iMac that it is unbelievable.
