Gateway Computer Will Not Connect To Wireless Network

This router works well with other Ubiquity Unifi devices including managed switches, wireless access points and network extenders. This router is fast. The self hosted server app works well on a Windows 10 pc. What isn't clear from the product description or BHP tech support is that the 2.5 GB ports adapt to 1 GB connections and that this router can replace an older Ubiquity UniFi router by plug and play. All that is needed, is to replace the new router on the gateway connection and adopt the device. Once you adopt the new router you get a message saying you can't have 2 gateways. Then just go and forget/remove the old gateway router from the app and re-adopt the new gateway router. Give it a bit of time and all the settings will be automatically applied to the new router. I have a xfinity cable modem, UniFi gateway router, 2 UniFi 8 port managed switched, 1 UniFi WAP, 2 UniFi Beacon wireless network extenders and about 50 network devices managed with a fixed ip setup. My only complaint is that nobody at BHP or Ubiquity could give me a straight answer on upgrading the router.

Synology makes setting up this mesh router fairly simple. Power it on next to your router, use the DS router app and you're up and running in about 15 minutes. I have four of them and they are all wired. So make sure you follow the instructions and connect it wirelessly to the router first, then take it where you want on the network and plug it in. The ability to add a dozen of the MR2200's to my router means that I can create a reliable and fast wireless network that rivals my wired network in terms of square footage and then go beyond the building. My wireless devices automatically drop and connect as I move around. I could not be happier with this device because it is reliable and the range meets all my needs. I have no complaints from my network users.

The setup process was SUPER easy. It took less than 10 minutes. I used the LCD touch screen to connect to my WIFI network. I love being able to connect to this using the wireless network. This printer’s size is perfect for a small business owner because it does not take up a lot of room on your desk. You can use all paper sizes with this printer, however, there is only one paper tray that fits letter size. If you need to print with legal size, you must feed the paper through a slot (which is not ideal) but works fine. This is a very solid printer with enough functions to use as your main printer for your small business.

I use this to connect my laptop to my printer. It's great because I can't get my printer on the wireless network at my school and this cord lets me use it. It's a bit short but other than that works great and wasn't expensive.
