Bought the SVG2482R Modem/Gateway to use for Comcast service; Phone and Internet. The online set-up with Comcast takes time, as the Modem took time(15 minutes) to activate and reboot and with the Comcast service in MN, but overall an easy process. Once connected, the performance is great ( 200 Mbps) for the Blast service. The only negative is that the modem is larger, than any previous modem/router I have had. So, had to get creative to hide it, but not affect the wireless in the house.

This is one of those great products that you just don't really think about until you need it and then you are happy to have it. I have a number of devices that use Micro USB but my computers, phones, tablets, and many if not most of my charging bricks are all USB C so when I have a Micro USB cable it becomes a bit of an annoyance plugging it in and this adapter takes that annoyance away and makes those cables compatible with all of my other USB C ports. If you don't have any of these yet grab a couple and have them around you will be surprised how useful they can be. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.]

Using this drive to back-up files on a number of computers. Easy setup with no difficulties. Is reliable and performs well across various operating systems.

I have a number of these and use them almost exclusively for creating backups for all our computers. They work great. I use them for Time Machine backups, along with backups with other third party applications. Super performance, very reliable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a number of computers, from laptops to desktops, old and new, mostly on the Windows 10 platform. I needed a powered USB port hub to 1) increase the number of ports available and 2) to be able to support the power requirements of the peripherals and accessories that I attached to the computer. For example, I have a tablet that I use that is attached to my computer via USB, however, while I am using the tablet it loses its charge and the computer not able to provide enough power to re-charge it. Another example is to provide enough power to external harddrives. I do a lot of programming and technical work on my computers that I have different accessories attched to them - mouse, keyboards, external microphone, web and DSLR camera, smart phones/tablets, CD/DVD reader/burner, bluetooth and WiFi dongles, flash drives, etc. I have other USB port hubs that do not have the external power and it cannot support all the accessories I attached to them.

Holds my phone in myriad number of positions and heights. Love it!

I found this as a gateway compatible with Xfinity and was able to easily install on my own in no time!
